Abstract

The lack of information regarding the types of waste and how to turn it into something more useful is also the reason why many people still litter. In processing waste requires a creativity. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide education on how to use waste as an effort to increase children's creativity while at the same time instilling the importance of environmental cleanliness in the hamlets of Cetok, Titang, Jogonalan, Klaten. The method used is a demonstration method that is adapted to the situation and conditions of the local environment. The results obtained are that activities that have taken place are able to increase children's knowledge and creativity regarding how to use waste. With increased knowledge and creativity in utilizing waste, it will also be able to raise children's awareness in keeping the environment clean. This can minimize environmental problems caused by the accumulation of waste. The conclusion obtained is that the activities that have been carried out are able to provide education on how to use waste as an effort to increase children's creativity while at the same time instilling the importance of environmental cleanliness in the hamlets of Cetok, Titang, Jogonalan, Klaten. Keywords: Hamlet Cetok, Education, Environmental Cleanliness, Children's Creativity, Waste Utilization Abstrak Kurangnya informasi mengenai jenis sampah dan cara mengubahnya menjadi benda yang lebih bermanfaat turut menjadi penyebab masih banyaknya orang membuang sampah sembarangan. Dalam mengolah sampah diperlukan suatu kreativitas. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu untuk memberikan edukasi cara pemanfaatan sampah sebagai upaya meningkatkan kreativitas anak sekaligus menanamkan pentingnya kebersihan lingkungan di dukuh Cetok, Titang, Jogonalan, Klaten. Metode yang dipakai yaitu metode demonstrasi yang disesuaikan dengan situasi dan kondisi lingkungan setempat. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu kegiatan yang telah berlangsung mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kreativitas anak mengenai cara memanfaatkan sampah. Dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan dan kreativitas dalam memanfaatkan sampah akan turut mampu menumbuhkan kesadaran anak dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. Hal tersebut dapat meminimalisir permasalahan lingkungan yang diakibatkan oleh menumpuknya sampah. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh yaitu kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan mampu memberikan edukasi cara pemanfaatkan sampah sebagai upaya meningkatkan kreativitas anak sekaligus menanamkan pentingnya kebersihan lingkungan di dukuh Cetok, Titang, Jogonalan, Klaten. Abstract

Sound waves can occur not only in solid medium but also in air and water mediums. The effect of amplitude and frequency on the speed of sound waves differs between air and water mediums. The speed of sound waves cannot be seen with the naked eye. A virtual lab is needed to determine the speed of sound wave propagation. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of amplitude and frequency on the speed of sound waves in air and water medium. The research method used is a quantitative method by conducting experiments online using the PhET application. PhET is used because it can carry out interactive simulations to facilitate research that cannot be done in real terms, but must make use of an effective virtual lab. The results obtained, namely in the medium of air and water, it is proven that the amplitude and frequency are directly proportional to the speed of sound wave propagation. In conclusion, sound waves travel faster in the water medium than in the air medium. Sound waves travel faster in the water medium because in liquid the particles are closer together than in the air medium, so sound waves will travel faster.
