Abstract

A study has been conducted to determine the application of diversity-based nusacard media to improve cultural literacy in grade IV. The results of the analysis that have been carried out prove that the use of media in schools is still low. Teachers use learning media as is, such as books, teaching aids and picture media. This causes students to feel bored during learning. Effective learning activities must be supported by interesting and appropriate learning media. This study aims to determine the application of diversity-based nusacard media to improve cultural literacy in grade IV. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were 19 grade IV students of SDN Bugangan 02 Semarang and 1 teacher. Data collection techniques and data validity analysis conducted triangulation tests. Techniques include interviews, observations and documentation. The conclusions that we can draw from the results of the interview after the application of Nusacard media prove that students are more interested, easy to understand and focused on following the learning. In addition, the observation results after using the Nusacard media showed that students became more active, were able to determine the location of the Nusacard according to the map of Indonesia, knew the types of cultural diversity in Indonesia, knew their own culture, had a sense of concern for culture, in accordance with the achievement of cultural literacy indicators. ABSTRAKTelah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui penerapan media nusacard berbasis keberagaman untuk meningkatkan literasi budaya kelas IV. Hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan membuktikan bahwa penggunaan media di sekolah masih rendah. Guru memanfaatkan media pembelajaran seadanya, seperti buku, alat peraga dan media gambar. Hal tersebut menyebabkan siswa merasa jenuh pada saat pembelajaran. Kegiatan pembelajaran yang efektif harus ditunjang dengan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan media nusacard berbasis keberagaman untuk meningkatkan literasi budaya kelas IV. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV SDN Bugangan 02 Semarang sebanyak 19 siswa dan 1 guru. Teknik pengumpulan data dan.analisis keabsahan data melakukan uji triangulasi Teknik yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Kesimpulan yang dapat kami ambil dari hasil wawancara setelah penerapan media Nusacard membuktikan bahwa siswa lebih tertarik, mudah memahami dan fokus dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Selain itu pada hasil observasi setelah penggunaan media nusacard siswa menjadi lebih aktif, mampu menentukan letak nusacard sesuai dengan peta Indonesia, mengetahui jenis-jenis keragaman budaya Indonesia, mengetahui budaya sendiri, memiliki rasa kepedulian terhadap budaya, sesuai dengan capaian idikator literasi budaya.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the strengthening of the character of mutual cooperation through the Pancasila education learning process for class IV SD Negeri Bugangan 02 Semarang. The research used a qualitative descriptive method with the research subjects being class IV teachers and class IV students at SD Negeri Butangan 02. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, interviews and documentation.  The results of this research state that the achievement of strengthening the character of mutual cooperation which has fulfilled the 3 aspects of solidarity reached 53%, the mutual help indicator reached 47%, the respect indicator reached 73%, and the cooperation indicator reached 63%. It can be said that strengthening the character of mutual cooperation in class IV of SD Negeri Bugangan 02 Semarang is quite good.
