Abstract

Abstract. Marriage is the most important act in human life. Allah SWT created His creatures in pairs, and marriage is considered an act of worship if it is conducted according to the prescribed Islamic laws. According to customs in Nagari Tanjung Alai, marriage must be between different clans, and marrying within the same clan, commonly known as (marrying within the same clan), is prohibited. If this rule is violated, the consequence is the loss of inheritance rights. The research problem formulation is: What is the customary marriage law system in Nagari Tanjung Alai, Solok Regency, West Sumatra? How does Islamic law, based on 'urf (custom), analyze clan-based marriages in Nagari Tanjung Alai, Solok Regency, West Sumatra? This research aims to answer these questions. The study uses a phenomenological approach with qualitative methods. Data collection is done through structured interviews with local traditional leaders and community members, serving as primary data sources, along with secondary data sources. The results show that the customary law in Nagari Tanjung Alai, Solok Regency, prohibits clan-based marriages. Abstrak. Perkawinan merupakan tindakan yang paling penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Allah SWT menciptakan makhluk-Nya dengan berpasang-pasangan, dan perkawinan akan bernilai ibadah jika dilakukan sesuai dengan syari’at yang sudah ditentukan oleh Allah Swt.. Perkawinan menurut adat di Nagari Tanjung Alai perkawinan harus dilakukan dengan yang berbeda suku, atau dilarang nikah dengan satu suku atau biasa disebut (kawin sasuku) bahkan jika tetap dilakukan maka sanksinya diputus hak warisnya. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana sistem perkawinan hukum adat di Nagari Tanjung Alai Kabupaten Solok Sumatra Barat dan Bagaimana analisis hukum Islam berdasarkan urf terhadap perkawinan sasuku di Nagari Tanjung Alai Kabupaten Solok Sumatra Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab rumusan masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi dengan metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara terstruktur dengan tokoh adat dan masyarakat setempat dan menjadi sumber data primer dan sumber data sekundernya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Hukum Adat di Nagari Tanjung Alai Kabupaten Solok melarang perkawinan sasuku.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of using the game-based assessment media "SPEDU" (Spinner Education) in measuring and improving students’ conceptual understanding of ecology and biodiversity material among seventh-grade students at a public junior high school in Yogyakarta. The research method employed in this study is descriptive quantitative with a pre-experimental approach, using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The implementation of the SPEDU media improved students' conceptual understanding, with an average posttest score of 8.00. This indicates that the application of SPEDU had a positive effect in enhancing students' conceptual understanding of ecology and biodiversity. The standard deviation results also showed that the posttest scores were more homogeneous compared to the pretest scores, suggesting that SPEDU was effective in improving students' understanding more evenly across the class in this subject matter. In addition, N-gain analysis indicated that the N-gain score for the ecology and biodiversity content was in the high category (0.86). The results of the Paired Sample t-Test analysis also indicated a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores, confirming that the use of SPEDU had a significant impact on improving students’ conceptual understanding. Therefore, SPEDU is effective as an engaging and enjoyable learning tool that encourages students to develop a deeper understanding of ecological and biodiversity concepts.
