Abstract

General Background: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) significantly influences company performance in today’s business environment. Specific Background: Inconsistent findings exist regarding CSR's impact on management performance, particularly in Indonesia’s state-owned enterprises (BUMN). Knowledge Gap: This study addresses this gap by examining the effects of environmentally and socially oriented CSR on the management performance of BUMN companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2022. Aims: The study aims to empirically assess how CSR influences management performance using quantitative data from annual reports. Results: The findings reveal that both environmentally and socially oriented CSR positively impact management performance, with implications for financial outcomes. Novelty: This research offers new insights into the relationship between CSR initiatives and firm performance. Implications: The results provide valuable information for investors and corporate managers, highlighting the necessity of effective CSR strategies to enhance operational performance and build investor confidence. Highlights: Positive Impact: Both environmentally and socially oriented CSR significantly enhance management performance in BUMN companies. Investment Insights: Effective CSR strategies are essential for building investor confidence and improving financial outcomes. Abstract

Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of debit cards and electronic money on students' spending habits. Method: This research took place at the Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo and was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 81 active students of the Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo as respondents. In this study, the analysis used was multiple linear regression and the tool used to conduct the analysis was SPSS. The data used for the analysis was primary data obtained from 81 respondents. Results: Based on the results of this study, it can be seen that debit cards and electronic money have a significant influence on the spending habits of students at the Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. Novelty: This research is motivated by the increasing use of debit cards and electronic money in transactions. The series of advantages possessed by these two payment instrument innovations make their users use them more often to make transactions.

Abstract

MSMEs play an important role in economic development, overcoming the problem of poverty, and are able to provide employment opportunities. This research aims to determine the influence of payment gateways, digitalization of MSMEs, financial literacy, and business capital on the performance of MSMEs. This research uses a quantitative type of research using primary data. The population of this research is 14,410 MSME food and beverage actors in Sidoarjo Regency. Samples were taken using nonprobability sampling with a purposive sampling method and distributing questionnaires to a total of 99 respondents. The data analysis technique used in the research is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the IBM SPSS version 23 test tool. The results of this research show that payment gateways, digitalization of MSMEs, financial literacy and venture capital have an influence on MSME performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the moderating variables of Financial Behavior in Financial Literacy, Income and Risk Perception on Investment Decision Making in the Capital Market. The population in this study were students of the 6th and 8th semesters of accounting study program at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo, with a total population of 980 and a sample 71 respondents obtained by Simple Random Sampling. By using data analysis techniques in the form of Outer Model for testing the validity an reliability of data an Inner Model for hypothesis testing using the SmartPLS version 3.0 application. The results obtained prove that Financial Literacy and Income cannot be moderated by Financial Behavior on Onvestment Decision Making in the Capital Market. This is different from Risk Perception which can be moderated by Financial Behavior. So that it can strengthen the relationship between Risk Perception and Investment Decision Making in the Capital Market.
