Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of ease of payment on online shopping addiction through the intervening variable of marketplace platform customer satisfaction in urban communities in South Sulawesi using the Path Analysis method using SmartPLS 4.0 software. with PLS-SEM Alogarithm and Bootstraping calculations with a sampling method using Nonprobability Sampling Technique of 214 respondents where data was obtained via google form with measurements using a Likert scale. The results of this study indicate that there is no direct effect of payment convenience on online shopping addiction in urban communities in South Sulawesi. Payment convenience affects customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction affects online shopping addiction in urban communities in South Sulawesi. Payment convenience affects online shopping addiction through customer satisfaction as an intervening variable in urban communities in South Sulawesi

Abstract

This study investigates the transformative impact of financial technology (fintech) on the conventional banking sector within the framework of a platform-based digital economy. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology, the research systematically analyzes 30 peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2015 and 2023. The objective is to explore the evolving dynamics between banks and fintech firms, focusing on patterns of strategic collaboration, institutional adaptation, and technological integration. The findings reveal that the relationship between traditional banks and fintech has shifted from one of disruption to symbiotic cooperation, wherein fintech contributes agility and innovation, while banks offer infrastructure, regulatory legitimacy, and consumer trust. This transformation facilitates the development of more efficient, inclusive, and sustainable financial services. The study underscores the critical role of adaptive regulatory frameworks, enhanced digital literacy, and the incorporation of Islamic digital financial tools in supporting this transformation, particularly in the context of Islamic banking. It recommends policy strategies such as open banking architecture and enabling regulation models to foster innovation while ensuring systemic stability and inclusivity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki dan menganalisis dampak pengaruh keberadaan e-commerce terhadap pedagang konvensional di Situbondo yang biasanya menjalankan bisnis mereka di toko oflline yang harus bersaing dengan pelaku bisnis e-commerce yang dapat menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas tanpa harus memiliki toko fisik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian observasi dan wawancara. Penelitian ini akan menggali sejauh mana perkembangan e-commerce telah mempengaruhi model bisnis pedagang konvensional, termasuk penurunan atau peningkatan dalam penjualan, perubahan dalam perilaku konsumen, dan strategi yang di adopsi oleh pedagang konvensional untuk tetap bersainng di era digital. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan wawasan  serta gambaran yang lebih luas tentang transformasi bisnis dalam konteks global yang semakin terhubung dengan adanya digitalisasi.
