Abstract

Community service is an activity that realizes and improves the quality of community knowledge in helping the problems experienced by the community in the community. Through the Thematic Real Work Lecture (KKNT) program based on community service, this activity is to increase students' sense of solidarity with the existing conditions of the community. The use of land with hydroponic cultivation is an alternative that can be done by utilizing minimal yard land and being able to use used goods. Farming with hydroponics is very environmentally friendly in addition to not using pesticides, also the production can be used alone or as an economic source of household income. In addition, the outputs obtainedare n: (1) Improvement of superior quality of resources; (2) improving household economic resources; (3) Encourage the progress of the village. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di desa Sei Kamah II Kecamatan Sei Dadap Kabupaten Asahan Provinsi Sumatera Utara dengan ketinggian ±12 m diatas permukaan laut dengan topografi datar. Rancangan RAK-F yang terdiri atas dua faktor dan tiga ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah pengaruh dosis pupuk cangkang telur (T) dengan 3 taraf, yaitu : T0 = 0 g /plot, T1 = 200 g/plot, T2 = 400 g/plot. Faktor kedua adalah pengaruh dosis pupuk Feses burung walet (W) dengan 4 taraf, yaitu : W0 = 0 g/plot, W1 = 250 g/plot, W2 = 500 g/plot dan W3 = 750 g/plot. Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman (cm), diameter batang (mm),  Jumlah daun (helai), produksi per tanaman sampel (g), produksi per plot (g Aplikasi tepung cangkang telur berpengaruh nyata dan sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman dan diameter batang umur 4, 6 MST, berat per tanaman dan berat per plot. Aplikasi feses burung walet berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 4 dan 6 MST, diameter batang pada umur 4 dan 6 MST, jumlah daun pada umur amatan 4 dan 6 MST, produksi per tanaman dan produksi per plot.
