Abstract

The research aims to determine the role of digital marketing in increasing service income in the beauty sector in students of the D4 Cosmetics and Beauty Care Study Program using a qualitative research method with a descriptive study focus on the research object, namely the number of 10 students who work in the field of beauty services and utilize digital marketing to increase their income. Data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by data reduction, data display, and conclusion verification. The results of the study show that the use of digital marketing has a significant impact on increasing service income in the beauty sector among students of the D4 Cosmetics and Beauty Care Study Program. By leveraging various social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and WhatsApp, students have managed to expand their market reach, increase visibility, and attract more customers. The digital marketing strategy includes creating attractive content, using online booking features, and presenting customer testimonials. The majority of interviewees reported a 25-100% increase in revenue after using digital marketing, which was largely due to consistency in content creation and active interaction on social media.

Abstract

This research was created with the aim of obtaining data on the credibility of Beauty Vlogger Miss Jakarta. This research uses quantitative correlational methods. The population of this study were all undergraduate students of Cosmetology class 2021-2022, Jakarta State University. The sampling technique used in this research was purposive sampling. The sample criteria in this study were undergraduate students in Cosmetology class 2021-2022 who knew Beauty Vlogger Miss X, were subscribers or followers of YouTube Miss X, and used YouTube Miss So, the sample in this research is the 2021-2022 undergraduate students of Jakarta State University, namely 53. The data analysis techniques used are associative quantitative techniques, analysis requirements tests, data normality tests, linearity tests. The results of this research show that there is a positive and significant relationship between the credibility of YouTube Beauty Vlogger Miss The majority of interest in learning facial make-up is in the high category, namely 56.6%. And according to the research results, it shows that the majority of Beauty Vlogger Miss X's credibility is in the low category, namely 58.2%. So, it can be seen that the credibility of Beauty Vlogger Miss

Abstract

Kulit adalah bagian dari tubuh makhluk hidup yang terletak dilapisan paling luar. Baik itu hewan, tumbuhan, dan manusia semuanya memiliki kulit. Kulit merupakan organ dari makhluk hidup dan merupakan organ yang paling pertama bersentuhan langsung dengan lingkungan sekitar. Maka dari itu kesehatan kulit perlu diperhatikan. Tujuannya agar kulit tetap dalam kondisi baik. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut, kita perlu memakai produk kecantikan yang dapat merawat kulit dari luar maupun dari dalam. Untuk menjaga kulit dari luar kita perlu menggunakan produk kecantikan. Di dalam produk kecantikan terdapat bahan-bahan kimia, terkadang masyarakat umum tidak memahami kandungan dari produk yang mereka pilih. Dari permasalahan tersebut perlu adanya edukasi terhadap masyarakat berupa pembagian buku saku "Bahan Kimia Berbahaya pada Kosmetik". Tidak hanya membahas tentang kandungan kosmetika. Penelitian ini juga dimaksudkan untuk mengedukasi masyarakat bahwa kulit memiliki fungsi yang sangat berpengaruh bagi kesehatan tubuh manusia. Dalam buku yang kami bagikan juga terdapat gambar lapisan kulit beserta fungsinya, ciri kulit, adneksa kulit, dan bahan kimia berbahaya jika digunakan dengan jumlah yang melebihi batas maksimal.
