Abstract

 Syiah Kuala University is the oldest state university in Aceh located in the capital city of Aceh Province with its main campus located in the student city of Kopelma Darussalam, Banda Aceh. A pedestrian path is a movement of people from one place to another.Evaluation of the comfort of the pedestrian path in the Syiah Kuala University area is based on the existence of several pedestrian areas that have been damaged, potholed and misused. The purpose of this study is to find out the pedestrian path area in the Syiah Kuala University area thatmeets the standards and has met and supported the comfort of pedestrian users.The method used in this study is a quantitative method with questionnaire data collection and direct observation in the field. Quantitative research is in the form of descriptive descriptions from questionnaires and observation data in accordance with the standards of the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Number 07/P/BM/2023.From the results of the study, it can be concluded that six lanes have met the standard of pavement height, two of the six lanes have met the standard of pavement width, four of the six lanes have met the standard of pavement kereb, of the six lanes none of them have met the standard of facility lanes, and six of the six lanes have met the standards of supporting facilities on the lane with crossing access and bus stops.Regarding the comfort of the majority of respondents who use it stated that it is comfortable because there is shelter such as shelter, vegetation that provides shade while protecting from hot weather, areas that are neatly arranged and have a beautiful and attractive design.
