Abstract

In this era of globalization, paradigm changes occur in several aspects of life, one of which is in the field of human resources, especially leadership. In the past, leadership was only identified with men, but now many women are starting to occupy high positions as leaders. This article is a review that examines various challenges in women's leadership. Data was obtained from literature studies from various reference sources such as books, articles published in journals and other relevant sources. The results obtained show that there are efforts to realize equal rights and gender equality, so that women's opportunities to become leaders are not limited. Several women have succeeded in occupying strategic positions in both the political, economic and educational fields. However, there is still an opinion that opportunities for women are more due to policies that require women's representation, not because of their competence. Of course, this is completely unfounded, considering that women are also able to compete with men in terms of performance so that there is no longer any negative discriminatory treatment towards women. In the Islamic paradigm, women's position is equal to men. Even from an Islamic perspective, there are several aspects that still do not allow a woman to lead, such as being an imam during prayer. Meanwhile, from a social and cultural perspective, the patriarchal paradigm still applies in some communities, thereby limiting opportunities for women to become leaders.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of promiscuity among young people which often leads to unwanted things, namely the occurrence of pregnancy before marriage. The phenomenon of pregnancy outside of marriage is a fairly sensitive issue in various societies, not only regarding reproductive health aspects, but also has a wide impact on social, cultural, psychological, and legal aspects. In the midst of globalization and information disclosure, this phenomenon is increasingly complex, and its handling requires a holistic approach and empathy from all parties. This type of research is qualitative by going directly into the field to conduct interviews. Using a normative and juridical approach. Using primary data obtained from the views of religious leaders on the marriage of pregnant women out of wedlock and the status of children from the marriage of pregnant women. The results of the study show, first, that the factor of pregnant women's marriage is due to low levels of faith, too free association, lack of supervision from parents, low Islamic law education, and lack of legal awareness from the community and the perpetrators. The second result is about the opinion of religious leaders on the marriage of pregnant women out of wedlock, namely that pregnant women out of wedlock can be married to men who impregnate her, can be carried out without waiting for the birth of their child, marriage takes place when the woman is pregnant, there is no need for remarriage after the child conceived is born.
