Abstract

Academic activities in each year have a routine agenda that must be implemented by educational institutions, especially schools, both public and private. Each level of schools competes to find interested applicants during the admission of new students (PPDB) starting from the level of kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, and high school or equivalent. Every community that has children who will participate in PPDB is required to determine the most possible registration path, one of which is through the zoning path, where prospective students may register as PPDB participants provided that they have the closest distance to the school of interest based on the area zone. The zoning pathway is currently causing a polemic that is developing in the community, where the community feels that there is a mismatch in the application of this zoning policy, including many prospective students who have close proximity to schools but cannot register at the closest school from their domicile with various reasons submitted by the school, causing pros and cons. The purpose of this research is to analyze the value of community sentiment towards the application of zoning policies that apply to the new student registration system in each formal school. The data that will be used for data sentiment analysis are social media users, especially twitter. In this study using the SVM algorithm method where tweets from twitter users will be classified to produce positive and negative values. The result of the research is the classification of community sentiment in the form of positive and negative responses to the implementation of zoning so that it can be seen the current trend in society, if indeed more responses lead to negative responses, it means that it may be necessary to re-analyze whether this zoning registration path is appropriate or not.

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged the modernization of transaction systems, including the management of canteens in educational environments. The Bogor Telecommunications Academy canteen still uses a manual recording system, which is prone to errors and slows down the reporting process. Through this community service activity, the team (lecturers and students) designed a web-based Point of Sale (POS) system. The method used was the waterfall menu model with stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.  The results of this activity, with SUS analysis, show that the average SUS score for the POS System is 79.5 with a range of acceptance that is almost not high, equivalent to a B grade on a grading scale, and is in the “GOOD” position. Therefore, it can be concluded that the POS System meets user needs and is ready to be released to the public. The POS system can speed up the transaction process and generate accurate and fast sales reports. Before using the POS system, sales reports were done manually, which took a long time, and it also makes it easier to manage inventory in real-time. Thus, the implementation of the POS system can improve operational efficiency and service quality in the campus cafeteria.ABSTRAKPerkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong adanya modernisasi sistem transaksi, termasuk pada pengelolaan kantin di lingkungan pendidikan. Kantin Akademi Telekomunikasi Bogor masih menggunakan sistem pencatatan manual, yang rentan terhadap kesalahan dan memperlambat proses pembuatan laporan. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, tim (dosen dan mahasiswa) merancang sistem Point of Sale (POS) berbasis web. Metode yang digunakan adalah waterfallmenu model dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan.  Hasil Kegiatan ini dengan analisis SUS menunjukkan hasil perhitungan rata-rata skor SUS untuk Sistem POS adalah 79,5 dengan rentang tingkat penerimaan yang hampir tidak tinggi, setara dengan grade B pada skala grade, dan berada pada posisi “BAIK” Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Sistem POS sudah memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna dan siap untuk dipublikasikan kepada publik. Sistem POS mampu mempercepat proses transaksi menghasilkan laporan penjualan yang akurat dan cepat, sebelum menggunakan sistem POS laporan penjualan dilakukan secara manual sehingga waktu yang dibutuhkan cukup lama sekitar, serta mempermudah pengelolaan stok barang secara real-time. Dengan demikian, penerapan sistem POS dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan kualitas layanan di kantin kampus.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat dapat mendukung penerapan sistem dalam penyampaian informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu dan mempermudah Instansi dalam memberikan informasi tanaman obat kepada pengunjung di Balai Penelitian Tanaman Rempah dan Obat (BALITTRO). Pembangunan sebagai media alternatif yang dapat dimanfaatkan teknologinya melalui aplikasi berbasis website. Metode yang di gunakan penulis adalah dengan melakukan studi literature mengenai sistem kerja website, kemudian dilakukan perancangan desain dan sistem kerja website dan diimplementasikan dengan dibuatnya website ini. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan bahwa website Tanaman Obat ini berhasil dibuat dengan menggunakan bahasa pemograman PHP yang dikombinasikan dengan database MySql. Web Tanaman Obat ini bisa menjadi media informasi yang bermanfaat bagi pengunjung Kebun Wisata Ilmiah Tanaman Obat Balai Penelitian Tanaman Rempah dan Obat. Pengunjung dapat melihat katalog tanaman obat di halaman website ini.
