Abstract

Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kualitas kinerja jaringan internet (QoS) pada jaringan seluler BTS Provider Telkosmel bakti di dua lokasi berbebeda yaitu Kampung Tanah Rubuh dan Kampung Yoom 2, distrik manokwari utara ,Provinsi papua barat. Pengukuran QoS dilakukan dengan menggunakan standar TIPHON yang mencakup metrik throughput, delay, jitter, dan packet loss. Untuk mengukur kualitas kinerja jaringan dilakukan pengambilan data dengan menggunakan bantuan software Wireshark ( network analyzer) di kedua loaksi tersebut, data yang dikumpulkan (capture) pada Wireshark kemudian dilakukan pengukuran dan anlaisis sesuai standar yang di tetapkan TIPHON yang dikeluarkan oleh ETSI.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa throughput di Kampung Yoom 2 hanya mencapai 3,049 kbps, dengan packet loss sebesar 0,5%, delay 522,940 ms, dan jitter 522,935 ms, yang mengindikasikan kualitas jaringan yang rendah. Sebagai perbandingan, Kampung Tanah Rubuh menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik karena memiliki nilai Throughput 17.728 Mbps, Packet Loss 1.4%, Delay 181,213 ms, Jitter 181,179 ms. Implikasi dari hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa infrastruktur jaringan di Kampung Tanah Rubuh dan Kampung Yoom 2 memerlukan peningkatan dan perbaikan untuk mencapai kinerja yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap literatur yang ada dengan menyediakan data kinerja jaringan seluler di daerah terpencil di indonesia dan memberikan rekomendasi bagi peningkatan infrastruktur jaringan terlebih khusus kampung Tanah Rubuh dan kampung Yoom 2.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has given birth to online attendance innovations using Quick Response Code (QR Code), utilizing technology to facilitate fast and responsive information exchange. Attendance systems play an important role in monitoring staff attendance and measuring productivity. Currently, the attendance system for TKIT Insan Mulia Manokwari educators still uses a fingerprint machine, so fingerprint identification is slow and attendance is recorded manually. To overcome this, a new QR Code-based attendance system is needed. This research uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method which includes requirements planning, system design, development and implementation. The resulting web-based QR Code attendance system simplifies teacher attendance and provides automatic recap reports, increasing data accuracy and reducing manual errors. This system effectively increases the efficiency of school administration. This research can be a reference for developing attendance systems in other educational institutions.

Abstract

Currently, information technology is very necessary, in the digital era cybersecurity is one of the main factors for an institution to survive and be recognized for its credibility, including educational institutions, the Poltekkes Sorong Website is used as the main portal or media to disseminate academic information, interaction between students and the public, However, the existence of security gaps is something that allows cyber attacks to be carried out which can endanger data confidentiality. This study aims to analyze the security gaps in the Poltekkes Kemenkes Sorong website, the testing carried out using the penetration testing method which has several stages including collecting scanning information, vulnerability analysis. So that this study can provide guidance and practice for information system managers at Poltekkes Kemenkes Sorong to reduce the risk of cyber attacks and protect sensitive data held by the institution.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has significantly impacted education, particularly in the implementation of e-learning. Universitas Papua has adopted this system to enhance learning flexibility and efficiency. However, effectiveness depends on user adaptation and acceptance. This study evaluates the implementation of the e-learning system at UNIPA using the HOT-Fit evaluation model, which assesses Human, Organization, and Technology aspects. The research employs surveys and interviews with students and lecturers to measure user satisfaction, institutional support, and system quality. Findings indicate that technology, service, and information quality positively influence system usage and user satisfaction, ultimately contributing to system benefits. However, challenges remain, including infrastructure limitations and user adaptation issues that need improvement. This study provides valuable insights into the effectiveness of e-learning at UNIPA and offers recommendations for future system development. A comprehensive evaluation is essential to maximize benefits for students and institutions, ensuring accessible and high-quality education in the digital era.

Abstract

The application presentation was widely used by most people, such as PowerPoint, offer manyfeatures to make presentation creation become pretty and handy. But then, all the features will restrainuser to prepare a presentation because user can’t use other than those features. Adobe Flash is anapplication with main purpose to create animation in movie or interactive format. By using AdobeFlash features, such as TimeLine and Action Script, we can create dynamic presentation. Not onlyunlimited animations, user can transform the presentation to be interactive presentation, web page, etc.This study used Adobe Flash to create a simple presentation in order to reveal its’ strength andweakness compared to a presentation was created by PowerPoint.

Abstract

Universitas Negeri Papua’s (UNIPA) Internet network use Chilispot and RADIUS Server as User Manager application to control user to use internet facility. In Chilispot –at client side- implementation, user was used to complain about login process after a power outage that usually happens in UNIPA. When the power outage happened, user status in database was still noted online cause user couldn’t login again after power back. User has to report to Computer Center or waited for online status restore. Router Mikrotik is multifunction device that has User Manager feature. User Manager in Mikrotik can handle userlogin without affected by power outage because it use different procedure from Chilispot. User can directly access internet again without login process after power outage. In this research, author replaced Chilispot at Engineering Building with Mikrotik User Manager to find out Mikrotik capability in solve Chilispot problem. After one mount implementation, internet users at Engineering Building didn’t report any problem related to internet access after power outage. Mikrotik User Manager allows user to login once every three days that simplify internet access process.

Abstract

The limitation of Universitas Negeri Papua (UNIPA) Meeting Room capacity make general lecture for all students at every beginning of semester was difficult to do since students numbers are six time Meeting Room capacity. The tendency of increasing student’ numbers every year and there is no plan to rebuild Meeting Room are some other factors that university have to find a solution. One of the solutions is using Information Technology (IT).ClearSea is one of paid video konferensi application that Unipa bought years ago. By running the server application on intranet and putting all client applications on every faculty meeting room, this application was expected to facilitate UNIPA Rector in given general lecture and be watched by all students from their faculty meeting room. This paper analyzed the pros and cons of ClearSea implementation in UNIPA general lecture.In general, ClearSea can answer the need of general lecture at UNIPA. However, by considering its high price, this application does not have some features that made this application could not give full benefit, such as feature to choose active monitor and thumb monitor for every client.

Abstract

Cafe Cakbor 22 is one of the cafes that sells various types of drinks and snacks, it is better to have a system to meet the needs of promoting products and simplifying data transactions regarding product data and facilities provided at the café. The current system, both information related to cafes, product promotions and ordering, is still done manually. Customers view, select and order menus through the menu book provided by the waiter. So that this can hinder the development of cafes in the wider community and services that are still less efficient in terms of time. Based on these problems, it is necessary to build an information system that can assist in promoting a product so that it is neater, structured and so that consumers can more easily access everything about Café Cakbor 22. The application development method used is the waterfall method. The system is built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. With this system, it can assist cafe owners in promoting products online and can help both customers and owners in processing product sales transactions.

Abstract

The selection of PAR chairpersons at the Sanggeng Zion CongregationalBible Christian Church is still relatively manual, for this reason this studyaims to create a decision-making system for selecting PAR chairpersons basedon existing criteria. This study uses the WEIGHTED PRODUCT method withstages, namely each criterion is ranked based on the level of importance. Thengiven a weight so that the normalized value can be calculated. In order toevaluate the expected alternatives, single attribute utilities are calculated sothat the resulting output is a decision support system in the form of a rankingwith the order of the greatest value. This application is designed using the PHPand MySQL programming languages. The results obtained from this studywere Sister Thersia Makabori becoming Chair of the PAR with the highestscore of 0.24 to be recommended as Chair of the PAR at GKI Sion SanggengManokwari based on the criteria that met the highest score.

Abstract

Along with the development of information technology which continues to move from year after year, many learning methods have been created to support teaching and learning process. Learning media is in the form of learning props. The solar system currently still uses print media, videos and teaching aids another simple one where the teacher is more dominant in explaining and the students are the only ones listening. Methods like this don't hone creativity and grasping power students, plus the limited use of teaching aids, on the other hand their availability the latest technology that can be developed into learning media. Method learning with the support of interesting technology-based media will creating effective learning media to help achieve targets learning. Application of augmented reality in learning materials about The solar system provides innovative learning methods that can create interactive learning communication between teachers and students. Method The research method used is the Research and method Development (R&D) which aims to create applied products. In the process of creating this application, the application development process used at this stage using the waterfall developer model. The method is carried out is to do Augmented Reality with Vuforia and Unity to implement on Android devices. The result achieved was the introduction of the solar system displays objects and information. With the Augmented Solar System application Android-based reality can be useful for visualizing the inner solar system more realistic model shape.
