Abstract

Productivity and product quality are very low due to cultivation methods and post-harvest processes and gambier processing that are not optimal and the lack of technological support for gambier processing. The very low level of productivity causes the amount of production produced to also be low. The decrease in the value of gambier productivity indicates that there has been inefficiency of farmers in allocating existing production factors. This research is associative with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 18,547 gambier farmers and the sampling technique was random sampling. So in this study using a sample of 100 respondents. This study uses Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with the help of SPSS version 25. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the use of production factors in the form of land area, labor, gambier prices on gambier production. The results showed that the variables of land area and labor could increase the amount of gambier production positively and significantly. Gambier price variable has a positive and insignificant effect on the amount of gambier production.

This study explores the design of the multi-disciplinary integrated paradigm MBKM curriculum in the Sharia Economics study program at UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. This study belongs to the type of research and development with a 4-D (four D) development model. The population consists of students, lecturers, alumni and graduate users, with a sample size of 124. The research results found that the MBKM model with a multidisciplinary integrative paradigm received a high level of agreement of 87%. This indicates that the MBKM approach is considered effective in improving cross-disciplinary skills. In this regard, the development of the Sharia Economics curriculum at UIN Imam Bonjol Padang using an integrative, multidisciplinary MBKM model promises progressive steps, providing freedom to students, and increasing the relevance of graduates to industry needs, creating professionals who are ready to face the dynamics of the world of work.

Abstract

This research is entitled Factors Influencing District/City Economic Inequality in Jambi Province in 2015-2018. This study aims to analyze the effect of Agglomeration, Labor, and Investment on Regency/City Economic Inequality in Jambi Province in 2015-2018. The analytical method used in this study is panel data regression for the 2015-2018 period which comes from the Jambi Central Bureau of Statistics. Statistical testing includes Common, Fixed, and Random tests, as well as conducting the Chow Test and Hausman Test to obtain the test to be selected. The results of the data analysis show that among the three agglomeration variables (X1) it has a sig. (0.040) < (0.05), so it partially has a significant effect on economic inequality in Jambi Province in 2015-2018. Labor variable (X2) has a sig. (0.8846) (0.05), so partially it has no significant effect on economic inequality in Jambi Province in 2015-2018. Investment (X3) Investment (X3) has a sig. (0.407) (0.05), so partially it has no significant effect on economic inequality in Jambi Province in 2015-2018. Simultaneously obtain a calculated F value of 4.460 with a Probability value (Prob F-statistic) of 0.000. Because the probability value is 0.000 <0.05 (α) and F count (358.6774) > F table (2.78), it can be concluded that all independent variables namely agglomeration, number of workers, investment together have a significant effect on economic inequality in Jambi Province from 2015 to 2018. Based on the value of the coefficient of determination, the independent variables in the equation, namely agglomeration, labor, and investment jointly affect 65.9% of economic inequality in Jambi Province in 2015-2018, while the remaining 24.1% is explained by other factors outside the model.
