Abstract

In the era of globalization, work productivity is crucial to remain competitive. The increase in employee productivity across various sectors has become very important in Bandar Lampung, a rapidly growing economic center. While employee resilience is crucial in managing suboptimal workloads, developing resilience can be an effective strategy for enhancing overall productivity. Using a quantitative method, this research investigates the relationship between work productivity, resilience, and employee workload in Bandar Lampung. The sample participants were aged between 20 and 40 years, reflecting the productive age group in the region. The survey method is used by sending questionnaires to respondents to collect relevant data. The results of the statistical tests explain the impact of workload and resilience on employee productivity levels. Statistical analysis shows a significant positive effect of workload, and resilience has been proven to have a strong impact in helping employees manage pressure in the workplace. Statistical analysis shows the t value of 2.099 for the workload variable partially> t table, which is 1.65536 with a significance level of 0.038 for the Workload variable smaller than 0.05. partially tested resilience variable has a t value of 60.612 greater than the t table value of 1.65536 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. Furthermore, simultaneous testing shows that both factors, namely workload and mental endurance, simultaneously play a substantial role in the increase of work productivity. This finding emphasizes the importance of paying attention to both aspects in the effort to optimize employee productivity in a dynamic work environment and provides an in-depth explanation of the workload in Bandar Lampung, as well as how to enhance employee resilience to encourage sustainable productivity improvement.

Abstract

DISNAKKESWAN Lampung Province faces employee productivity challenges such as lack of control and supervision, including tardiness issues. A less than optimal work environment, such as limited space and facilities, also hampers productivity. In addition, weak organizational culture and the inability to match work demands with employee needs also interfere with performance. The study aims to examine more deeply about these two factors whether they can increase employee productivity. The target of the respondents is employees of the Lampung Province Livestock and Animal Health Service (DISNAKKESWAN). 50 employees were used as a sample for this study. Saturated samples are used as a sampling technique. Using primary data obtained by distributing questions directly using paper whose number is in accordance with the number of questions to be answered and the number of respondents. SPSS 26 is used as a data processing application. The results of linear regression showed that the dependent variable had a positive role in the independent variable. Hypothesis analysis shows that organizational culture and work environment are very supportive of work productivity. Then simultaneously the two independent variables have an impact on the bound variable. Although this research still has some limitations, the author hopes that the results of this research can be a useful guide in the future, so that employees can be more optimal in their work and are expected to increase employee productivity.

Abstract

Human Resource (HR) plays a crucial role in the success of organization. The recruitment and selection system at PT Mega Auto Central Finance and its impact on employe performance. The research employs a qualitative approach with interview as the primary method to understand the selection process. The findings indicate that PT MEGA AUTO CENTRAL FINANCE has implemented a system that considers job performance, personal traits, and work behavior when selecting candidates. However there are some recommendations for improvement. First, concerning the recruitment system, the company can diversify its sources for recruiting employes by collaborating with educational institutions and online platform. Second, in the selection proses, the company needs to enhance objectivity and diversity by ensuring that assessment are based on relevant competencies and qualifications while considering the diversity of the candidates being evaluated. These improvements are expected to strengthen employees’ contribution to the company’s goals. Thus, this research provides at better understanding of the importance of and effective recruitment and selection system in supporting organizational performance.
