Abstract

This community service (PkM) was conducted near the coast of Manggar Beach, Balikpapan City, in collaboration with partners from the PKK Khinasih Quality Family Village (KB Khinasih) group, which has micro-industry potential for processed shrimp paste. The challenges faced include: 1) the drying method for shrimp paste is conducted by sun-drying, which means that during the rainy season, the drying process for shrimp paste takes a long time and hampers the production process; and 2) sales of processed shrimp paste products are currently limited to the local community. To address these issues related to the extended drying process and to expand marketing efforts, this PkM initiative developed a shrimp paste drying tool tailored to the needs of the PKK KB Khinasih women. Additionally, outreach activities were conducted to educate them about design and packaging strategies that could be beneficial for hosting product exhibitions. The dryer has been handed over to the PKK women for suitability testing with regard to its function, quality, and capacity. KB Khinasih has also adopted label and sticker designs for packaging processed rebon shrimp paste products.            Keywords: dryer; product sticker and label; rebon shrimp paste

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the compatibility of services provided by MTs. Sultan Hasanuddin Library with the National Library Standards (SNP) 008:2011, specifically focusing on the library services section. The main issue addressed in this study is to identify the extent to which MTs. Sultan Hasanuddin Library's services comply with SNP 008:2011 and the efforts made by the library management to meet these standards. This research adopts a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation to analyze various aspects of library services. The results of the research indicate that several aspects of MTs. Sultan Hasanuddin Library's services are in line with SNP 008:2011. These include the library's operating hours, information literacy programs, and service activity reporting (statistics). However, there are some service aspects that do not meet the standards, such as the types of library services, mandatory library visits programs, reader education programs, library promotion, library cooperation, and integration with the curriculum. To comply with SNP 008:2011 in the library services section, the management of MTs. Sultan Hasanuddin Library has made several efforts, such as providing adequate facilities and infrastructure, developing the library's collection of materials, training human resources, and allocating sufficient budget. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kesesuaian layanan Perpustakaan MTs. Sultan Hasanuddin dengan Standar Nasional Perpustakaan (SNP) 008:2011, khususnya pada bagian layanan perpustakaan. Pokok permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi sejauh mana kesesuaian layanan Perpustakaan MTs. Sultan Hasanuddin berdasarkan SNP 008:2011 dan upaya yang dilakukan oleh pengelola perpustakaan untuk memenuhi standar tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk menganalisis berbagai aspek layanan perpustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beberapa aspek layanan di Perpustakaan MTs. Sultan Hasanuddin telah sesuai dengan SNP 008:2011. Di antaranya adalah jam buka perpustakaan, program literasi informasi, dan pelaporan kegiatan layanan (statistik). Namun, terdapat beberapa bagian layanan yang belum sesuai dengan standar, termasuk jenis layanan perpustakaan, program wajib kunjung perpustakaan, program pendidikan pemustaka, promosi perpustakaan, kerjasama perpustakaan, dan integrasi dengan kurikulum. Untuk memenuhi SNP 008:2011 pada bagian layanan, pengelola Perpustakaan MTs. Sultan Hasanuddin telah melakukan beberapa upaya, seperti penyediaan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, pengembangan koleksi bahan pustaka, pembinaan sumber daya manusia, dan alokasi anggaran yang memadai.
