Abstract

Karang Taruna Manjahlega is a social organization that is a forum for the development of community members based on a sense of social responsibility based on the principle of from, by and for the community. Mobilizing youth for social welfare for the community that can contribute to the scope of the village or sub-district. The role and vision of Karang Taruna in society have the meaning of making Karang Taruna an important organization to be able to facilitate positive youth activities. The voluntary principle applied makes it difficult for Karang Taruna to develop because the involvement and other roles in the lives of its members make many activities not run optimally. Community Service Activities with the theme of Managing Quality Human Resources in Karang Taruna, aim to increase awareness of Karang Taruna Manjahlega members regarding the sense of belonging and responsibility for the organization so that they can become a more creative and innovative Karang Taruna, fostering the enthusiasm of Karang Taruna members in carrying out activities that help in community welfare. The method used in PKM activities is counseling by involving interactive activities with participants to increase familiarity between Karang Taruna members in improving the quality and performance of the organization in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the responses of sandwich generation employees who work in the tourism industry hospitality sub-sector in the city of Bandung and assess the influence of Job insecurity and social support on Burnout partially or simultaneously. The method used in this research is descriptive and verification with a quantitative approach. The population used in this research is generational employees sandwich in the Bandung City hospitality sub-sector tourism industry, with a sample of 160 respondents using non-probability sampling techniques, namely accidental sampling. Based on the research results, it was found that the respondents' responses were related to job insecurity, which was included in the high category, namely social support, which was included in the low category; and burnout, which was included in the high category. Based on the results of the determination test, it was found that Job insecurity has an effect of 12.9% on Burnout, Social support has an effect of 9.3% on Burnout, and Job insecurity and Social support have an impact of 12.3% on Burnout. Based on the results of partial hypothesis testing, Job insecurity affects Burnout. Social support does not affect Burnout. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, Job insecurity and Social support simultaneously influence Burnout.
