Abstract

Pelayanan navigasi membutuhkan ketelitian dari seorang operator Air Traffic Control (ATC) untuk melakukan proses scanning pada air situation display dalam mengatur lalu lintas pesawat yang akan take off dan landing di Bandar Udara Internasional X dan pesawat overflying di bawah FL245 di area Balikpapan TMA serta semua penerbangan dari dan yang akan menuju Bandar Udara di Samarinda. Kegiatan ini termasuk ke dalam pekerjaan yang membutuhkan kerja mental. Selain itu, kepadatan lalu lintas udara setiap waktu pastinya berbeda-beda yang mungkin akan mempengaruhi tingkat ketelitian operator dalam melakukan kegiatan pemantauan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka dilakukan pengukuran beban kerja mental operator ATC. Pengukuran beban kerja mental pada penelitian ini menggunakan NASA –TLX dengan tiga kondisi kerja yang berbeda yaitu shift pagi pada pukul 7.30-13.30 WITA, shift siang pada pukul 13.30-19.30 WITA, dan shift malam pada pukul 19.30-7.30 WITA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja mental operator ATC pada shift pagi masuk ke dalam kategori beban kerja mental tinggi sekali dengan skor 81, shift siang masuk ke dalam kategori beban kerja mental tinggi dengan skor 77, dan shift malam masuk ke dalam kategori beban kerja mental tinggi dengan skor 77. Shift kerja memiliki pengaruh terhadap beban kerja mental operator ATC karena disebabkan oleh kepadatan traffic yang terjadi pada tiga kondisi kerja yang berbeda yaitu shift pagi sebanyak 80 sampai 100 lebih traffic, shift siang sebanyak 20-80 traffic dan shift malam sebanyak 0-20 traffic. Rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan terhadap perolehan beban kerja mental yang cukup tinggi ini adalah melalui pembagian wilayah pada Balikpapan TMA, penambahan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM), serta penyediaan tempat istirahat yang memadai dan fasilitas di dalamnya.

Abstract

A company that serves loading and unloading services which includes demolition and loading of goods carried out in the Pier Port area also has a high potential for workplace accidents. From interviews with safety officers, accidents that occur are still limited to minor accidents such as eye irritation due to dust and irritation to the feet due to fertilizer leaking and about the body of the worker. Based on the workers' side, the potential for workplace accidents can be overwritten by fertilizers, irritation due to leaky fertilizers, respiratory problems from chemical conditions that smell of fertilizers and fall from trucks. This study aims to determine the activities that have the potential for workplace accidents and carry out risk assessments that occur with the HIRARC method. The object of research is a company engaged in loading and unloading operations operating in East Kalimantan. Data collection is done by direct observation by observing the location and activities of workers. Also, by direct interview with the Safety Officer (1 person), Field Coordinator (1 person), Tally Man (1 person), Rager Crane Ship (1 person) and field workers totaling 33 workers. The results of the study obtained risk factors from 8 activities such as placing cranes, preparing loading and unloading equipment, installing slings and hooks to crane hooks, preparing tally man tables on the dockside, workers entering barges, directing transport trucks, fertilizer loading, heading vehicles to leave the dock and 14 potential hazards. From the risk assessment obtained three sources of extreme value hazard, nine sources of hazard that have high-risk values and two sources of hazards that have moderate risk values. Risk control can be done to providing K3 guidance, make good working procedures, and use complete PPE in carrying out loading and unloading activities.

Abstract

Health and safety has been known as one of the requirements in carrying out tasks and a form of human rights factor for workers in carrying out work activities. Lack of awareness and concern for K3 resulted in the existence of work risks, namely the presence of accidents that occur in welding activities carried out on the maintenance of tugboats carried by PT. Margasurya Shipindo like being hit by welding sparks, slipping, touched by hot iron which causes injury to workers. Therefore the purpose of this study is to identify and classify potential hazards, and control risks in work activities at PT. Marga Suryashipindo. Hazard analysis of risk in this study used the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) method. Based on the results of observations and interviews with 3 maitenance workers and 1 maintenance coordinator, there were 22 potential hazards. Based on the risk assessment, the risk level values were not with the HIGH category, 10 risks were MEDIUM category and 12 risk were LOW category. Control of the above risks is to use APD with the standards of welding workers, carry out administrative controls in the form of the application of SOP welding and K3 supervision to evaluate work activities. In addition, Engineering control is also carried out in the form of holding lift aids and doing maintenance on a regular basis, procuring toolsbox, and arranging tools and materials in the welding location.

Abstract

Marketing is an essential aspect of the strategy of increasing product sales. Manis Bakery UMKM itself does not have a specific plan for promoting mani bread. This study aims to design the marketing strategy of UMKM Manis Bakery based on the concept of Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM), Competitive Profile Matrix (CPM), and Strategic Position and Action Evaluation (SPACE). This research conducted at Manis Bakery UMKM with respondents chosen were business owners and respondents who bought bread at least once a week or more. Based on the results of the analysis that has done, the results obtained that the strength possessed by the Sweet Bakery UMKM are products without preservatives, bread has a soft texture, food that is not easy to expire, strategic company location and affordable prices. The strategy is a priority based on six alternative strategies, namely creating sweet bread with flavors or innovations and making unique and attractive packaging that will do when having additional business capital.
