Abstract

Abstrak - Laboratorium memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis praktikum di perguruan tinggi. Fakultas pertanian universitas Muria Kudus sendiri mengelola beberpa laboratorium yang digunakan secara intensif dalam kegiatan praktikum dan penelitian. Namun, proses pengelolaan laboratorium seperti penjadwalan praktikum, pengelolaan inventaris dan peminjaman alat, serta monitoring asisten praktikum yang dilakukan manual sehingga menimbulkan permasalahan efisiensi, inkonsistensi data dan keterbatasan kualitas layanan. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk merancang sebuah sistem informasi pengelolaan laboratorium berbasis website dengan pendekatan Customer Relationship Management. Menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara serta studi pustaka. Menggunakan metode pengembangan model Waterfall yang terdiri dari tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, pengujian dan pemeliharaan. Hasil pengujian fungsional sistem menunjukkan bahwa keseluruhan fungsi sistem mampu untuk mendukung aktivitas pengelolaan laboratorium secara optimal sesuai kebutuhan pengguna.Kata kunci : asisten praktikum; laboratorium; sistem informasi manajemen; Abstract Laboratories play an important role in supporting practicum-based learning activities in higher education. The Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Muria Kudus manages several laboratories that are intensively used for practicum and research activities. However, laboratory management processes such as practicum scheduling, inventory management and equipment borrowing, as well as the monitoring of laboratory assistants are still carried out manually, resulting in efficiency issues, data inconsistencies, and limitations in service quality. This study aims to design a web-based laboratory management information system using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) approach. The research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The system development follows the Waterfall model, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. The results of functional testing indicate that all of the system functions are able to optimally support laboratory management activities in accordance with user requirements.Keywords : lab assistant; laboratory; management information system;
