Abstract

The research is motivated by the problem of the principal as an administrator in improving the quality of education at SD Negeri 6 Rejasari. The aims of this study were to: 1) find out the leadership of the school principal as an administrator in improving the quality of education at UPTD SD Negeri 6 Rejasari, Langensari District, Banjar City. 2) Knowing the obstacles faced by school principals as administrators in improving the quality of education at UPTD SD Negeri 6 Rejasari, Langensari District, Banjar City. 3) Knowing the efforts made by the principal as an administrator in improving the quality of education at UPTD SD Negeri 6 Rejasari, Langensari District, Banjar City. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection tools used in this study include observation (observation), interviews (interviews), and documentation. The results showed that 1) The leadership of the school principal as an administrator at the UPTD SD Negeri 6 Rejasari, Langensari District, Banjar City, in the process of managing curriculum administration, has controlled the curriculum program at school, has managed and regulated the personnel or personnel administration system properly and on target with the portion of the individual, the Principal carries out the administrative function by forming members of the management of facilities and infrastructure. carry out supervision in administration properly, and have arranged funds according to the budget that has been made, plan to receive funds, determine the time to use funds according to the budget, in making the financial administration, SD Negeri 6 Rejasari uses a manual system, so there are still time constraints that take quite a long time and are prone to errors. Lack of competence possessed by teachers such as discipline in teaching attendance. Furthermore, from the low motivation to learn in students. 3) Efforts made by teachers to improve the quality of education in their schools are by improving the quality of teachers at SD Negeri 6 Rejasari. It is recommended to take part in teacher education/training and attend KKG, with various and varied learning methods, it is hoped that the teaching and learning process can run well. And also the teacher must have strong determination and a great desire to move forward and make changes in a good direction. In order to achieve learning objectives, advance education in schools.
