Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of taxation sanctions, taxpayer attitudes, taxpayer awareness and tax knowledge in increasing Jember Regency Regional Revenue (PAD). This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive approach. A sample of 100 respondents was obtained by cluster sampling technique. Data were obtained using a questionnaire and analyzed using two analytical methods, namely quantitative descriptive analysis and trend analysis. The results showed that the obstacle experienced by the Jember Regency government was because PBB P2 was a new tax so that the local government experienced difficulties in its management, inadequate facilities and infrastructure and large costs, and human resources that were not optimal in providing services. The Jember Regency Government carries out three stages of strategy, namely the strategic planning stage, strategy implementation and strategy evaluation. Conclusion, tax sanctions have a significant and positive effect on the increase in PAD, attitudes of taxpayers, awareness of taxpayers, knowledge of taxation has no significant effect but has a positive influence on the increase in PAD in Kabupaten Jember. Abstract

This study examines the role of female leadership in improving school performance at SMK dr. Soebandi Jember. The results indicate that the female principal at this school has a significantly positive impact on school performance through her unique and effective leadership style. The principal has a strong background in managing hospitals, pharmacies, and as a lecturer, which allows her to implement high standards in school management. In terms of human resource management, the principal categorizes teachers into two statuses: permanent teachers with additional structural duties and non-permanent teachers who only teach. This division facilitates control and monitoring of teacher performance through monthly reports that include lesson plans (RPP), teaching journals, attendance, and evaluations. In the aspect of learning, SMK dr. Soebandi Jember offers health-related study programs with strict student selection, including written tests and color blindness tests. The education is more focused on practical skills, supported by internship programs in collaboration with pharmacies, hospitals, and laboratories.Additionally, the principal fosters strong relationships with the healthcare and medical industries for student internship programs, enhancing student competencies in their respective fields. Collaborations have been established with various health and medical companies, including internship opportunities abroad, such as in Japan. Overall, female leadership at SMK dr. Soebandi Jember has successfully improved school performance through structured and innovative approaches in managing human resources, learning processes, and industry relations. This study demonstrates that female leadership has significant potential to bring about positive change and advancement in educational settings.

Abstract

Mengoptimalkan kinerja UMKM adalah essensial bagi kehidupan usaha UMKM di era kompetisi ketat. Buruknya kinerja karena lemahnya antisipasi kekuatan bersaing (bargaining power). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1. Apakah ada hubungan yang signifikan dari model kekuatan bersaing: persaingan antar industri, pemasok, pembeli, pendatang baru, dan barang subsitusi terhadap optimalisasi kinerja 50 UMKM Jember? 2. Apakah ada hubungan yang signifikan dari pendatang baru dan barang subsitusi terhadap optimalisasi kinerja 50 UMKM Jember? Berdasarkan tujuan penelitian di atas maka dirancang penelitian ini mengabungkan metode penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Didesain kualitatif karena UMKM membutuhkan “prioritas antisipasi” dari nilai rata rata jawaban 50 UMKM, sedangkan penelitian ini didesain kuantitatif karena menguji hipotesis untuk menjawab tujuan penelitian. Metode untuk mendapatkan data penelitian ini melalui survei kepada 50 UMKM Jember. Metode yang dilakukan untuk mendapatkan konsistensi jawaban dari setiap kumpulan variabel dilakukan uji Composite Reliability dari hasil T Statistics > 1.00 dan P-Values > 0.05. Setelah melakukan metode ini dengan baik maka didapatkan hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: 1. Ada hubungan yang signifikan dari model kekuatan bersaing terhadap otimalisasi kinerja sebesar 0.515 atau 51.5% dan p-value sebesar 0.000 > 0.05 atau signifikan secara statistik. 2. Ada hubungan yang signifikan dari kekuatan tawar menawar dari pendatang baru sebesar 0.382 (38.2%) dan p-value sebesar 0.011 > 0.05 (signifikan) dan barang subsitusi sebesar 0.372 (37.2%) dan p-value sebesar 0.018 > 0.05 (signifikan). Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah perlunya mengantisipasi ancaman pendatang baru dan barang subsitusi karena akan mempengaruhi posisi persaingan, tingkat penjualan dan pendapatan UMKM.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the perceptions of persons with disabilities regarding career opportunities in the formal work environment at UNIPARMART, PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk, Jember Branch. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving employees with disabilities and company management. The findings indicate that while the recruitment process has become more accessible, physical accessibility and career development remain limited. The social environment is supportive, but it is not yet accompanied by a fully inclusive managerial system. This research recommends improving physical accessibility, establishing training policies, and strengthening inclusive work systems to support sustainable careers for persons with disabilities.
