Abstract

Educational transformation through digital technology integration has created a need for learning models that are not only adaptive but also capable of building student learning agency. In this context, blended socio-digital learning (BSDL) is a strategic approach combining face-to-face learning with digitally-based social interaction. This exploratory qualitative study aims to: (1) describe teacher strategies in designing and implementing BSDL, (2) identify forms of student learning agency that emerge, and (3) understand contextual pedagogical and social factors. Data was collected through interviews, participatory observation, and digital documentation. The results show that combining social interaction with creative technology use encourages students to be more reflective, responsible, and active in designing their learning experiences. In conclusion, BSDL positively contributes to strengthening student learning agency, particularly in flexible and personalized learning contexts. It is recommended that teachers design strategies that integrate social and digital dimensions balancedly and provide space for students to take an active role. Abstract

Professional teachers play a fundamental role in implementing an effective and meaningful learning process. Teacher professionalism is not solely determined by pedagogical competence and mastery of material, but also by reflective, innovativeabilities, and integrity in carrying out educational duties. This study aims to comprehensively describe the role of professional teachers in learning and their contribution to improving the quality of the process and student learning outcomes. This study uses a literature review method with a descriptive-qualitative approach. The findings indicate that professional teachers act as learning designers, facilitators of educational interactions, managers of learning environments, and evaluators of learning outcomes. Teachers with high professional competence are able to develop contextual learning strategies, utilize technology adaptively, and implement a studentcentered approach. These roles have direct implications for the growth of learning motivation, active student involvement, and improved academic achievement

Abstract

In the era of 21st century educational transformation, schools are required not only to produce academically intelligent students, but also to have strong character, national values, and skills that are relevant to global challenges. One of the strategic efforts to realize this is through the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) which is in line with strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile (P5). This study aims to analyze the implementation of the PjBL model in shaping students’ holistic character and developing 21st century skills at Alifya Elementary School Bondowoso in 2025. The approach used is qualitative with a descriptive method. Data was collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis and project documentation. Data analysis is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and interactive conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the implementation of PjBL at Alifya Elementary School Bondowoso is carried out systematically through contextual projects such as the creation of miniature villages and mini parks that foster the value of mutual cooperation, responsibility, and creativity. The project activities also strengthen the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile, including faith and noble character, independence, cooperation, critical reasoning, and creativity. In addition, 21st century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity are developing significantly through planning activities, teamwork, problem-solving, and presentation of results. These findings confirm that PjBL not only improves cognitive achievement, but also shapes the moral, social, and spiritual character of students as a whole. Thus, the implementation of PjBL is an effective strategy in realizing the goal of national education based on Pancasila values in elementary schools.
