ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan metode pembelajaran demonstrasi pada Mata Pelajaran Keterampilan, mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Keterampilan, dan mengetahui respon siswa kelas VIIISMPNegeri 3 Susoh terhadap penerapan metode demonstrasi materi Kerajinan Sulam Kruistik. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa Kelas VIII-2 yang berjumlah 23 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui test dan observasi. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi, soal test, dan angket respon siswa. Untuk mengetahui aktivitas guru dan siswa dianalisa menggunakan statistik deskriptif dengan skor rata-rata, ketuntasan individual dan klasikal dan rumus persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penerapan metode pembelajaran demonstrasi pada Pelajaran Keterampilan materi kerajinan sulaman kruistik di SMPN 3 Susoh dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini terliht pada aktivitas guru mengelola pembelajaran pada siklus I termasuk kategori baik (81%), sedangkan kemampuan siswa siklus I termasuk cukup (64,8%). Pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan baik aktivitas guru maupun aktivitas siswa. Aktivitas guru berada pada kategori sangat baik (91%), dan aktivitas siswa termasuk kategori baik (82,4%). Terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan metode demonstrasi pada Pelajaran Keterampilan materi sulaman kruistik, yaitu pada siklus I nilai rata-rata siswa 63,48 dengan persentase ketuntasan 69,56%. Sedangkan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata siswa 69,35 dengan persentase ketuntasan 82,61%. Siswa kelas VIII-2 merespon dengan baik penerapan metode demonstrasi pada pelajaran keterampilan, yaitu rata-rata 87,83% setuju.Kata Kunci: Metode Demonstrasi, Keterampilan Siswa, Sulaman KruistikABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the application of demonstration learning in Crafts Subjects, to determine the improvement of student outcomes in Crafts Subjects, and to find out the responses of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Susoh to the application of the demonstration method of Kruistic Embroidery Crafts. The research subjects were students of Class VIII-2 who opened 23 people. Data collection techniques through tests and observations. The data collection tools used were observation sheets, test questions, and student response questionnaires. To determine the activities of teachers and students were analyzed using descriptive statistics with average scores, individual and classical completeness and percentage formulas. The results showed that the application of the demonstration learning method in the Crafts Lesson of Crustic Embroidery at SMPN 3 Susoh could improve student learning outcomes. This can be seen in the teacher's activities in managing learning in the first cycle, including the good category (81%), while the students' ability in the first cycle is sufficient (64.8%). In the second cycle there was an increase in both teacher and student activities. Teacher activities are in the very good category (91%), and student activities are in the good category (82.4%). There was an increase in student results after the demonstration was applied to the Craftls Lesson of the Crustic Embroidery material, namely in the first cycle the average value of students was 63.48 with a mastery percentage of 69.56%. While in the second cycle the average value of students was 69.35 with a percentage of completeness 82.61%. Class VIII-2 students responded well to the application of the demo method in crafts lessons, with an average of 87.83% agreeing.Keywords: Demonstration Method, Student Skills, Cruistic Embroidery
