Abstract

This community service activity aims to assist the Mimbala Village government in compiling digital-based village spatial data as a reference for targeted and sustainable infrastructure planning and development. The main problem faced is the unavailability of accurate and standardized regional maps, so the development planning process is often not based on valid data. The activity methods include field surveys and digital map creation using a Geographic Information System (GIS)-based mapping application. The legal basis for implementing this activity refers to Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages, Regulation of the Minister of Villages, Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration Number 21 of 2020 concerning General Guidelines for Village Development and Village Community Empowerment, and Regulation of the BIG Number 3 of 2016 concerning Guidelines for Mapping Village Administrative Areas. The result of the activity is a digital map of the Mimbala Village area that includes administrative boundaries, road networks, public facilities, and potential land for development. This map is a strategic tool for the village government to compile spatial data-based development plans, improve decision-making accuracy, and support transparency and accountability in village development management. Thus, this community service strengthens village governance and encourages sustainable development based on digital mapping.

Abstract

Air Terjun Tattiri di Desa Banagan, Kecamatan Dampal Utara, merupakan salah satu destinasi alam yang menyimpan potensi besar untuk dikembangkan sebagai objek wisata unggulan. Namun, keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana menjadi kendala utama dalam pemanfaatan potensi tersebut secara optimal. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan upaya yang telah dan sedang dilakukan dalam pembangunan infrastruktur pendukung di sekitar kawasan air terjun, serta mengidentifikasi hambatan yang dihadapi dalam proses tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi lapangan, dan kajian dokumen terkait. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat inisiatif dari mahasiwa/i KKN berupa pembangunan papan penunjuk arah dan tempat mebuangan sampah. Namun, sebagian besar sarana tersebut masih bersifat sementara dan belum memenuhi standar kenyamanan maupun keamanan bagi pengunjung. Kendala utama yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan anggaran, serta belum adanya perencanaan terpadu berbasis potensi lokal. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan sinergi antara pemerintah desa, masyarakat, dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya dalam merancang pembangunan sarana dan prasarana yang berkelanjutan, agar kawasan Air Terjun Tattiri dapat berkembang menjadi destinasi wisata yang layak dan berdaya saing.

Abstract

Riverbank settlement arrangement in urban areas often faces challenges of density, environmental degradation, and flood risks due to uncontrolled space utilization. This study aims to formulate a spatial arrangement concept through a waterfront approach that functions as a flood mitigation system while improving environmental quality. The method used is descriptive-qualitative with a contextual design approach based on the analysis of existing conditions, housing patterns, and community space needs. The design results show that the waterfront concept can be implemented by managing river borders as green open absorption spaces, implementing adaptive housing, providing public pedestrian paths, and integrating drainage systems. This arrangement successfully creates an area that is safer from flood risks, improves the quality of living space, and establishes a sustainable functional relationship between human activities and the river.
