Abstract

This research aims to develop power point media as a medium for learning Riau Malay culture for class II at SDN 182 Pekanbaru. This research uses a research development or R&D approach which includes several stages, namely the analysis stage, design stage, development stage, implementation stage. Data was collected through interviews and questionnaires on the power point media that was developed. This research is expected to have a positive influence on the development of creative and innovative learning methods, especially in the context of Riau Malay cultural learning. Apart from that, it is also hoped that it can become a reference for schools and teachers in choosing appropriate learning media for each lesson.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the speaking skills and describe the speaking skills of class Va students at SDN 48 Pekanbaru. The approach method used in this research is qualitative. In carrying out the research, researchers used qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. Data collection was carried out using test, interview and observation data. The data taken and collected comes from class teachers and class VA students. Data analysis was carried out through three implementation stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data used includes extending the time of researcher involvement in the research process, increasing persistence, triangulation and analysis of negative cases. The research results obtained showed that the speaking skills of class VA students at SDN 48 Pekanbaru were in the good category. The student's speaking skills include aspects of vocal accuracy, aspects of voice intonation, aspects of speech accuracy, aspects of acquisition fluency. Factors that influence students' speaking skills include supporting factors and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors are self-confidence, home environment and students' daily interactions with their peers. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors are the student's individual attitudes, study habits and the student's living environment.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of ice breaking on the motivation to learn Indonesian for class V students at SDN 182 Pekanbaru. Ice Breaking is a straightforward, light and compact game or action that can change the atmosphere of being frozen, tense, tired or lethargic in educational and learning activities. Because this is one of the factors that can influence student learning motivation. The type of research used in this research is one group pretest-posttest design with the number of samples in this research being class V C students, totaling 32 students. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire with 18 questions. The results obtained in this research were pretest with an average of 4.7188 and posttest with an average of 7.5625. pretest and posttst experienced an increase of 2,843. The research results also show that the significance obtained is 0.000 < 0.05, so that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, this shows that there is an influence of ice breaking on the motivation to learn Indonesian for class V students at SDN 182 Pekanbaru.
