Abstract

Academic supervision is a task that must be carried out by a school principal, but the reality is that academic supervision is not carried out optimally, this happens even in the majority of schools in Boja District. Supervision carried out so far is only a formality, ignoring the main function, namely providing supervision to teachers so that teachers can evaluate teaching methods in class whether they are less than optimal with facts in the field when related to the different characters of all students, so that the vision and mission for creating professional teachers has not yet been achieved. Therefore, academic supervision must really be carried out by the principal for a minimum of one meter at a time with the aim of improving teacher performance, both in terms of time and academic discipline, so that professional teachers can be created so that students will be more optimal in participating in the learning process.The implication of this research is the principal's academic supervision of teacher performance to improve the quality of students' education in the Blimbing 1 State Elementary School (SD), Boja District. If the principal's academic supervision is carried out well and regularly in accordance with predetermined regulations, it is certain that teacher performance will also increase so that it can have an impact on the quality of good education.

Abstract

The problem of the principal's leadership style in improving teacher performance in order to advance the quality of education is a problem that must be addressed. Solving this problem will be followed by a positive impact on the surrounding community, including at the Medono State Elementary School, Boja District, where the principal also uses a leadership style to improve teacher performance that is appropriate to the conditions in the environment. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The author obtained data by conducting observations in the field and conducting in-depth interviews with sources relating to the leadership style of school principals in improving teacher performance at the Medono State Elementary School, Boja District. The conclusions obtained in this research are first, the principal's leadership style in improving teacher performance at the Medono State Elementary School, Boja District uses a participatory leadership style. Second, the performance shown by teachers is still low. Third, the relevant leadership style used by the principal of SDN Medono, Boja District in improving teacher performance is a participatory leadership style coupled with better supervision by the principal of teacher performance. The implication of this research is that the principal's leadership style in improving teacher performance needs to be improved to improve the quality of student education in the Medono State Primary School, Boja District. If the style used by the principal improves, it can be ensured that teacher performance will also increase, thus having an impact on the quality of education produced.

Abstract

Leaders in an organization have an important role in directing and influencing their subordinates. Without people managing and directing an organization, the organization can undoubtedly achieve its goals in accordance with its vision and mission. Therefore, a leader is needed to be able to manage and regulate the organization to achieve its goals. This research aims to examine the importance of leadership in organizations using a literature approach applied at SDN 2 Trisobo, Boja District. This type of research is research with a literature study approach which is carried out by finding theoretical references that are appropriate to the cases obtained. A leader is a positive and confident person who has a vision, mission and high ethical values, with the ability to convey ideas and is able to encourage and relate well to other people. Leadership will be a determining factor for success in an organization. This is because leadership is the central point of significant change in an organization, leadership becomes a personality that has an impact and leadership is the art of creating organizational conformity and stability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the direc and indirect influence of principal leadership and work motivation on teacher performance. Education in schools cannot be separated from the role of teachers, where teachers in the world of education are very much needed in the teaching and learning process and distributing information that occurs in schools. Teachers are the most important human resources who are able to help students gain knowledge, insight and develop good personalities at school. Teachers have a big role and influence in realizing educational goals. However, the problem currently faced relating to the work motivation of elementary school teachers in Boja District is the low desire of teachers to learn IT, every time there are seminars or workshops related to increasing competency, not a few teachers only pay and entrust their names, apart from These teachers also copied previous tools in compiling administrative learning such as Syllabus, KI, KD, RPP, PROTA, and PROMES. This usually happens to create a mismatch with the conditions that exist in the field. This research is quantitative in nature using path analysis as data analysis using SPSS and Sobel. The sample for this research consisted of 46 teachers consisting of 12 elementary schools in Boja District, and was taken using Proportionated Cluster Random Sampling. The research instrument used a questionnaire. The results of the research show that the direct influence of the principal's leadership and work motivation has an influence on teacher performance. Meanwhile, the indirect influence of motivation is able to mediate the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance. In conclusion, there is an influence of the principal's leadership and work motivation on teacher performance.

Abstract

This research aims to see the effect of character education on student learning achievement in class VII at SMP Negeri 3 Boja. With a class VII population of 102 students and the sample in this study was taken 25% of the total population of 26 people. This research is quantitative research using simple linear regression analysis techniques. The results obtained in this research are that there is an influence of character education on student learning achievement. This can be seen from the influence of character education which influences learning achievement by contributing 25%. This means that 75% of student learning achievement is influenced by other factors not examined in this research. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that character education influences student achievement results at SMP N 3 Boja, Boja District, Kendal Regency. This shows that the better character education is applied to students, the better the students' learning achievement at the school.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk menganalisis peran kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SDN 1 Gonoharjo. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan Literature Review yaitu resensi buku, jurnal, makalah, catatan dan sumber yang berkaitan atau relevan dengan topik penelitian yang menjadi dasar penelitian ini. Di dalam analisis literatur ini, beberapa temuan penting dapat diidentifikasi. Pertama, kepala sekolah mempunyai hal yang penting peran yang harus dimainkan dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung dan memotivasi guru untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mereka pertunjukan. Kepala sekolah perlu memberikan arahan yang jelas, memberikan dukungan dan sumber daya yang memadai, dan melibatkan guru dalam pengambilan keputusan terkait pembelajaran dan pengembangan kurikulum. Kedua, itu kepala sekolah berperan dalam mengembangkan dan memfasilitasi pelatihan dan pengembangan profesional bagi guru. Dengan memberikan pelatihan yang relevan dan berkelanjutan, kepala sekolah dapat membantu guru meningkatkan keterampilan mereka, memperbarui keterampilan mereka pengetahuan, dan menerapkan praktik terbaik dalam pengajaran. Ketiga, kepala sekolah juga berperan dalam menyediakan umpan balik yang membangun dan mengevaluasi kinerja guru. Melalui kelas reguler dan berkesinambungan observasi dan penilaian kinerja, kepala sekolah dapat mengidentifikasi kelebihan dan kelemahan guru dan memberikan umpan balik yang berfokus pada pengembangan profesional mereka. Dalam konteks penelitian ini, Peran manajemen kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru sangatlah penting. Dengan membuat lingkungan yang mendukung, memberikan pelatihan yang relevan dan umpan balik yang konstruktif, kepala sekolah dapat melakukannya memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kualitas pengajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

This research report explains optimizing the quality of teacher teaching performance at SMP Negeri 3 Boja, Boja District. The quality of teacher teaching performance is an important element in achieving good quality education. The increasingly urgent demand for teachers who are qualified and perform optimally in carrying out their roles and duties as educators has implications for the need for efforts to develop teacher performance on an ongoing basis. The aim of this research is to describe and analyze the influence of the principal's instructional leadership on the quality of teaching performance of teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Boja, Boja District. The method used is a survey method with a quantitative approach. The total research sample was 35 teachers and 98 class VII students. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. Data were analyzed through correlation and regression analysis. The research results show that the quality of teachers' teaching performance is in the high category, the principal's instructional leadership is in the high category. Partially, the principal's instructional leadership has a positive effect on the quality of teacher teaching performance. Furthermore, simultaneously, it also has a positive and significant effect on the quality of teacher teaching performance.
