Abstract

This study started from the low learning outcomes of second-grade students at SDN 064971 Medan Tembung. To overcome this, the author applied a problem-based learning model (PBL) with the aim of improving student learning outcomes. This study is a classroom action research involving second-grade students of SDN 064971 Medan Tembung as subjects. The results of the study showed an increase in student learning outcomes in mathematics, especially number material, after improvements were made to the actions in cycle II. In the early stages, only 4 students (18%) achieved completion with an average score of 46.81. After cycle I, the number of students who completed increased to 10 people (45%) with an average score of 63.18. In cycle II, 18 students (82%) achieved completion with an average score of 76.81. The action was stopped in cycle II because the success criteria had been achieved. From this study, it can be concluded that the application of the problem-based learning model succeeded in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of second-grade students at SDN 064971 Medan Tembung.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the problem of critical thinking skills that are still low in students. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills using a problem-based learning model with flash card media in learning Pancasila education in class 2 SDN 074971 Medan Tembung. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (PTK), which was conducted through two cycles. The research process consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation/data collection, and reflection. The subjects of this research consisted of 22 students of grade 2 SDN 074971 Medan Tembung. Data collection used instruments in the form of observation sheets and tests. The results showed that the application of problem-based learning model with flash card media succeeded in improving students' critical thinking skills. This can be seen from the increase in the average score in each cycle. In the pre-cycle stage, the average critical thinking score was 18% and increased in cycle I to 50%, then increased again in cycle II to 86%.

Abstract

Thematic learning outcomes of Indonesian language learning outcomes are low because the learning that is done is still conventional, which causes students' involvement in learning is still low.conventional, which causes student involvement in learning is still minimal. This study aims to analyze the effect of problem-based learning model on learning model on the learning outcomes of Indonesian language content in grade III elementary school.grade III elementary school students. This research is a class action research research which was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of the researchwere third grade students totaling 13 students, consisting of 6 female students and 7 male students.. Data collection was carried out by the test method, in the form of ordinary multiple choice test. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive descriptive statistics. The results showed that the average learning outcomes of Indonesian language content in cycle I was 63.93 with a low category, so the research was continued to cycle II. with a low category, so the research continued to cycle II. In cycle II, the average learning outcomes of thematic Indonesian language lessons increased to 79.82 with a high category. Based on the research results,it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model is effective in improving students' Indonesian language thematic learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to identify differences in PPKn learning outcomes for class III elementary school students at SD Negeri 064971 Medan Tembung, which are taught using the Problem Based Learning model. The type of research used is meta-analysis of previous studies. This research applies quantitative synthesis methods. The main objective is to evaluate the effect of using the Problem Based Learning model on Civics subjects at elementary school level. To overcome this, the author applies a problem-based learning model (Problem Based Learning) with the aim of improving student learning outcomes. This research is classroom action research involving class III students at SD Negeri 064971 Medan Tembung as subjects. The research results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes in Civics subjects and they met the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) set by the school, namely 65. In the initial stage, only 4 students or 31% achieved completeness with an average score of 77.5. In cycle I, the number of students who completed increased to 6 people or 46% with an average score of 80. In cycle III, 11 students or 85% achieved completion with an average score of 88.18. The action was stopped in cycle II because the success criteria had been achieved. From this research, it can be concluded that the application of the problem-based learning model has succeeded in improving PPKN learning outcomes for class III students at SD Negeri 064971 Medan Tembung.
