Abstract

This study focuses on the low learning outcomes in mathematics, specifically on the topic of fraction addition and subtraction, in the 5th grade at UPT SD Negeri 067241 Medan Denai. The research aims to improve students' learning outcomes through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which includes four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection.The subjects of this study were 25 students of the 5th grade. Data collection was carried out through tests, and the results showed a significant improvement in learning outcomes after the application of PBL. Before the action, only 58% of the students met the Criteria for Achievement of Learning Outcomes (KKCP). After implementing PBL and using teaching aids, this percentage increased to 69% in the first cycle and reached 86% in the second cycle. The average student score also increased from 58.96 in the pre-action phase to 69.40 in the first cycle, and 85.80 in the second cycle.

Abstract

This research focuses on the low learning outcomes of IPAS on Solar System material in class VI SD Negeri 067241 Medan Denai. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through articulate storyline learning media. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which includes four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 27 grade VI students. Data were collected through observation and tests. The results showed a significant improvement in learning outcomes after the use of articulate storyline media. Before the action, only 30% of students reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). After the application of articulate storyline media, the percentage increased to 52% in cycle I and reached 89% in cycle II. The average score of students also increased from 61.4 in preaction to 69.6 in cycle I, and 85.1 in cycle II.

Abstract

This study aims to thoroughly examine and systematically enhance the vocabulary learning outcomes in adjectives, synonyms, and antonyms through the utilization of the WordSearch website for Grade V students at UPT SD Negeri 067241 Medan Denai by implementing the Team Game Tournament (TGT) model. The TGT model includes five stages: class presentation, team learning, games, tournament, and team recognition. The research employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) with four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through pre-tests, post-tests after cycle 1, and post-tests after cycle 2. The findings reveal significant improvements in learning outcomes, with the percentage of students achieving the Kriteria Ketuntasan Tujuan Pembelajaran (KKTP) increasing from 44% in the pre-test to 85.19% in the post-test cycle 2. The results show that the implementation of the TGT model effectively enhances vocabulary learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study investigates the low learning outcomes of students in the subject of Science and Social Studies (IPAS), particularly on the topic of the human motion system, in grade VI at UPT SD Negeri 067241 Medan Denai. The research aims to improve learning outcomes through the implementation of the Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which involves four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study are 28 sixth-grade students. Data were collected through observation and tests. The results showed a significant improvement after the implementation of the VAK model. Before the intervention, only 28.57% of students met the Learning Achievement Criteria (KKCP). This percentage increased to 62% in cycle I and reached 89.29% in cycle II. The average student score also increased from 63 in the pre-intervention stage to 67.14 in cycle I and 85 in cycle II, indicating the effectiveness of VAK in enhancing student learning outcomes.
