Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the teacher's role in improving the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years in Kindergarten Mother and Child Welfare Institution II Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative research form, sources of data in this study were the principal, class B teachers, parents of children. The data collection technique uses interview, observation, and documentation techniques, the results of this study show the role of the teacher as a motivator, namely the teacher plays a role in providing motivation in increasing children's interest, giving rewords to children such as stars, stickers, applause, and giving encouragement in the form of words such as kudos, great boy. Furthermore, the role of the teacher as a facilitator is that the teacher provides facilities to good children who study at home at home and at school, to improve fine motor skills the teacher provides tools and materials, the role of the teacher as an evaluator is that the teacher always has standards in the assessment (BB, MB, BSH, BSB), the teacher always evaluates the results of children's work and when children study at school class.Keywords: Teacher Role and Fine Motor

Abstract

AbstractMotor skills of children in kindergarden are emphasized on the coordination of fine motor movements in this case related to placing or holding an object using the fingers. This study aims to describe the development of fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years through rubbing activities at Sutitah Soedarso Kindergarten 1. The research method used is descriptive method with qualitative research the subject in the study were teachers and children aged 5-6 years. The research location is in Sutitah Sedarso 1 Kindergarten, especially in group B1 class. Data collection techniques used in this study were participant observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that: the development that the teacher did in developing the fine motor skills of children in learning through this blurry swab activity was that the teacher used the demonstration method so that children more easily understood, imitating what the teacher had exemplified. The teacher also provides a motivational approach to children when doing blurry rubbing activities and asks children to focus on learning and see what the teacher will exemplify. The examples of activities given by the teacher are the teacher giving examples of how to trace the pattern correctly, coloring the edges of the pattern neatly and does not go out of line, and wipe the color blur well so that the resulting color is also good. Then on the child's development that the fine motor development of the child is good after being given a blurry swipe activity in learning, the child is able to coordinate eyes and hands and work well.Keywords: Children Aged 5-6 Years, Fine Motor Development, Gray Swab Activity

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to describe the role of parents in the cultivation of character of love for the environment in early childhood in arang limbung village, kubu raya district. The method use in this research was the descriptive method with the qualitative design. The subject of this research was parents and early childhood at RT 008/ RW 008 arang limbung village kubu raya district. The instrument used to gather the data in this research were participant observation, interview, and documentation. The result showed: 1. The role of parents as an educator in planting the character of love for the environment in children, parents always teach children to love the environment yait by not littering, gardening, love plants, wash hands with soap before and after eating and shower use soap, 2. The role of parents as a mentor in planting character love the environment in children, parents always supervising and guiding every child’s activity inside and outside the house so that children get used to love the environment. Thus the role that parents have applied to planting environmental love character in early childhood in arang limbung village kubu raya district has been implemented properly.Keywords: Role of Parents, Environmental Love Character
