Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of traditional Batalah rituals in the Kanayatn Dayak Tribe in Oto Ledakng Hamlet, Landak Regency. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive-ethnographic approach. The data collection technic used a observation, interviews and documentation. The data collection tools used a observation guideline, interview guideline and documentation tools. The data analysis technic used a data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The testing of data validity used a source triangulation and a technical triangulation. The results of this research showing, (1) the process of the traditional Batalah ritual consists of two stages, the first is preparing the equipment for the ritual, before the traditional Batalah ritual carried out. Second, the day of the implementation of the traditional Batalah ritual which is carried out in the Nyangahant way. Nyangahant is divided into two, namely raw Nyangahant and cooked Nyangahant, after finishing the Nyangahant the next stage is bathing the baby, Ngaramak Suba, and eating together. (2) the function of the traditional ritual of Batalah in the Kanayatn Dayak Tribe in Oto Ledakng Hamlet, Sengah Temila District, Landak Regency is to give a name to a newborn child by means of a traditional ritual that will become the name or identity of the baby for life. (3) the values contained in the traditional Batalah rituals of the Kanayant Dayak Tribe are the value of mutual cooperation, religion and cleanliness.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the problems of teachers in the use of Google Classroom as a means of online learning in class X history subjects at SMKN 1 Pontianak. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the problems that occur during the online learning process by using Google Classroom as a learning tool, (1) the problems of teachers during online learning activities arise from the disturbance of the google classroom which often errors, quota constraints / inadequate signals, there are students who do not understand the material delivered online, the teacher cannot understand and recognize the character of the students because they do not know each other and there are students who do not participate in online learning activities. (2) the efforts of the teacher and the teacher's school to make it easier for students by not burdening them with heavy tasks, the school provides guidance for every student who has problems participating in online learning activities. In addition, the teacher provides motivation in every provision of material and assignments to be more active in learning and reading through the whatsups group, the teacher's efforts to always monitor and record all students whether they participate in learning activities or not through google classroom, students' efforts to find out what students do not understand from learning materials through Google and YouTube and books and other sources.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe as the preservation Community Marriage Tradition in Entogong Village, Kayan Hulu District, Sintang Regency.This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive-ethnographic approach. The data collection techniques used observation, interview and documentation. The data collection tools were observation guidelines, interview guidelines, field notes and documentation tools. The data analysis techniques used data collection, data education, data display and data conclusion. The validity of data, used observations of extended, triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. The results of research showing the 1) the process of traditional marriage of the Dayak Kebahan tribe consists of: preparation, groom’s welcome, beduda, ngonyok mandau, nganjan dance, nutok alu beranak, bilang ricek, preparatory worship before blessing, religious blessing procession, ngetok pintu ngamek bini, betopas, buang tabar and mukak tuak pemali. 2) the values of traditional marriage traditions of the Dayak Kebahan tribe is the value of caring for the cooperation, value of religion and value of local wisdom. 3) the role of the Kebahan Dayak community in preserving tradition marriage ceremonies in Entogong vilage such as: mutual cooperation to help the host , pay attention , learn and take part in the activities of traditional marriage ceremonies. There were a friction of the implementation procedure (a) time factors (b) economic factors (c) COVID-19 factores.
