Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the relationship between self-confidence, learning motivation, and learning independence with thematic learning outcomes in West Pontianak Elementary Schools. The research method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach and correlational research type. The sample of this study amounted to 150 students. The data were collected using a questionnaire and documentation study. Determination of the relationship between the variables of self-confidence, learning motivation, and learning independence with thematic learning outcomes using correlation analysis between variables and multiple correlations. The results showed that there was a relationship between (1) self-confidence with thematic learning outcomes of 0.471 categorized as "moderate", (2) learning motivation with thematic learning outcomes of 0.381 categorized as "low", (3) independent learning with thematic learning outcomes of 0.615 categorized "Strong", (4) self-confidence and learning motivation together with thematic learning outcomes of 0.493 are categorized as "moderate", (5) learning motivation and learning independence together with thematic learning outcomes of 0.615 are categorized as "strong", (6) self-confidence and independent learning together with thematic learning outcomes of 0.641 are categorized as "strong", (7) selfconfidence, learning motivation, and learning independence together with thematic learning outcomes of 0.644 are categorized as "strong".
