Abstract

The plan for a Golden Indonesia in 2045 will be realized if Indonesia's human resources are superior in quantity and quality. At present, the situation that has just materialized is only limited to the quantity, while the quality has not yet reached the expected stage. To reach the stage of quality human resources, quality educational facilities are also needed. One of them is by paying attention to the quality of all educational units regardless of their status. However, the fact is that not all education units receive sufficient attention in terms of funding. For example, the existence of private high schools is often marginalized even though it has an important role to fill the void of educational facilities that the government is unable to provide. The marginalized context in question is about the lack of maximum government contribution in its financing, so that the school often depends on student tuition. This research aims to identify the complexity of the funding problems experienced and the solutions implemented by private high schools. The approach used is qualitative with a document study method. The results show that funding problems in private senior high schools include dependence on student tuition as the main source of income, lack of subsidies from the government, and limited diversification of funding sources. This situation will certainly have an impact on the quality of educational facilities and the welfare of the students. Abstract

The transformation of the digital economy in Indonesia has become one of the main drivers of economic growth and social development. This process opens up various opportunities, but also faces complex challenges. This article aims to identify the opportunities and challenges that arise along with the development of the digital economy, as well as the development strategies that need to be implemented to support the acceleration of this transformation. Using a qualitative approach and literature study method, this research analyzes various relevant literature on the phenomenon of the digital economy in Indonesia, such as the current growth of the digital economy, development challenges, development opportunities, and strategies for strengthening the digital economy. The results show that although Indonesia has great potential to become a major player in the global digital economy, there are still significant barriers such as digital infrastructure gaps, limited skilled human resources, and regulations that are not yet fully supportive. Therefore, development strategies that can be implemented include improving the quality of technological infrastructure, developing digital skills among the workforce, and improving policies and regulations that support the digital ecosystem. With the right policies and support from various parties, the transformation of the digital economy in Indonesia is expected to contribute significantly to inclusive and sustainable economic growth. Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has revolutionized the educational landscape, which demands more innovative and engaging teaching methods. One such method is Video-Based Learning (VBL), which utilizes multimedia resources, such as videos, to enhance students' learning experience. This article discusses the application of VBL as a strategy to enhance student engagement in the classroom in the context of the digital age. The research examines the effectiveness of VBL in encouraging active participation, enhancing understanding and strengthening students' motivation to learn. By integrating video content in the learning process, educators can provide a dynamic and interactive learning environment that suits various learning styles. In addition, VBL facilitates access to resources beyond traditional teaching, allowing students to interact with learning materials according to their pace and preferences. This research demonstrates the positive impact of VBL on student engagement, especially in subjects that benefit from visual and auditory stimulation, and discusses challenges and solutions in effective implementation. This article aims to provide insights and practical guidelines for educators in integrating Video-Based Learning in their teaching practices, so that students are better equipped to thrive in the digital age.
