Abstract

This article was written against the background that the economic system is very important for social organization, and economic development is the most important factor in realizing the economic prosperity of society. A healthy economy creates a strong country that can achieve the goals of the economic system according to existing capabilities through continuous struggle between the government and its people. This study aims to identify the role of the Rashidun Caliphate as head of government in economic development and to determine the conditions for economic development under the leadership of the Rashidun Caliphate. Four Companions of the Prophet: Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq, Umar bin Khattab, Uthman bin Affan, and Ali bin Abi Talib, led Khulafaur Rasyidin. Rasyid Khulafah's economic policies are included in the history of Islamic economic thought. Based on research on economic development during the Khulafah Rasyidin era, the roles of heads of state and government in economic development include 1) running business in accordance with Islamic covenants, 2) requiring Muslims to pay zakat, 3) providing aid. jizyah for the poor, 4) formation of several sections, and so on.

Abstract

Managing household waste effectively is one of the biggest problems facing modern society. Waste division and sorting is one option. As one option to minimize the amount of household waste, Bank Sampah Sahabat Mitra/Pupuk Kompos in Bandar Kalipah, North Sumatra is a waste bank. This waste bank minimizes the amount of waste disposed of in landfills by implementing a systematic system to collect, group, and process waste. In addition, by carrying out composting operations, this waste bank contributes to the economical use of organic waste. Investigating The purpose of this study was to determine to what extent waste banks can reduce the volume of household waste and increase public awareness of the importance of sustainable waste management. The results showed that the success of the waste bank program is highly dependent on active community participation and support from local governments. As a result, waste banks can be a model for sustainable and effective waste management that can be emulated by other cities.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of digital marketing on sales growth at the small and medium enterprise (UMKM) Kerupuk Tempe Tiga Bintang in Tanjung Mulia Village. In the midst of rapid technological development, digital marketing has become an important tool for SMEs to expand their market reach and enhance competitiveness. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed in depth to describe how the use of digital media contributes to sales activities. The findings indicate that the implementation of digital marketing through social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram has a positive impact on increasing sales and brand awareness. Moreover, digital promotion strategies facilitate communication between business owners and consumers, strengthening customer relationships and trust. Therefore, it can be concluded that digital marketing plays a vital role in supporting the growth and sustainability of Kerupuk Tempe Tiga Bintang UMKM in Tanjung Mulia Village.
