Abstract

The younger generation in Indonesia plays a pivotal role in building the ecosystem of the halal industry, with a focus on technological innovation, entrepreneurship, Sharia financial education, and business ethics. This research, using a qualitative method, aims to discuss the development of the halal industry in Indonesia and the strategic role of the younger generation. The research findings indicate Indonesia's significant potential in the halal industry based on the majority Muslim population, natural resources, and government support. The younger generation's role in innovation and social responsibility is key to the growth of the halal industry, positioning Indonesia as a global leader in halal product consumption

Abstract

Dalam kondisi ekonomi masyarakat yang tidak menentu saat ini, pembedayaan masyarakat dalam membangun keterampilan dan potensi masyarakat desa menjadi sangat penting. Jadi masyarakat harus diberi pemberdayaan yang berdampak langsung pada kesejahteraannya. Sebagai salah satu pemberdayaan yang dilakukan yaitu kepada ibu-ibu rumah tangga di Desa Talang Bukit untuk mengembangkan kerajinan tangan (tali rami) yang dapat dijual sebagai aksesori ciri khas Desa Talng Bukit. Metode pembedayaan yang diterapkan yaitu pendekatan pastisipatif yang melibatkan langsung masyarakat (ibu-ibu) dengan melakukan kegiatan pelatihan, pendampingan pembuatan produk aksesoris, kemasan dan penjualan hasil produk melalui media sosial seperti Instagram (ig) i.ramiku, facebook, dll. Dari kegiatan pengabdian tersebut menghasil beberapa produk aksesoris yang layak jual dan mempunyai nilai jual secara ekonomi bagi perajin diantaranya seperti gantungan kunci, bingkai foto, wadah pensil, dan tas unik yang dapat menarik pembeli
