<![CDATA[Bali United Cartoon adalah kartun yang dipublikasikan lewat media internet yaitu instagram. Dibuat oleh salah satu suporter sepak bola Bali, Dewa Gede Raka Jana Nuraga S.Ds., yang juga merupakan seorang desainer asal Tampaksiring, Gianyar. Tujuannya adalah untuk menumbuhkan semangat persepakbolaan Bali, memperkenalkan persepakbolaan Bali secara luas, dan mendukung klub sepakbola Bali United melalui ilustrasi desain ikon berupa makhluk mitologi Bali yaitu Celuluk. Celuluk dipilih karena dapat menonjolkan ciri khas Bali dan memunculkan identitas budaya lokal. Secara tidak langsung, suporter Bali juga menyukainya, terlihat dari peningkatan pengikut di instagram setelah dibuatnya ilustrasi Celuluk sebagai ikon. Hingga April 2017 Bali United Cartoon memiliki 6840 pengikut di instagram dan masih terus bertambah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang analisis. Peneliti terjun ke lapangan, mempelajari suatu proses yang terjadi secara alami, mencatat, menganalisis, menafsirkan dan melaporkan serta menarik kesimpulan dari proses tersebut. Konsep ilustrasi Celuluk dibuat berdasarkan metode black box dan teori warna. Sedangkan bentuk ilustrasi dianalisis dengan teori desain grafis. Hasil penelitian dari wawancara dan analisis, konsep utama yang digunakan adalah kartunal terlihat dari adanya distorsi dan penyederhanaan bentuk ilustrasi. Konsep sunset untuk pewarnaan, terlihat dari penggunaan warna panas, yang cenderung menimbulkan kesan seperti saat melihat sunset. Bentuk ilustrasi memakai kombinasi elemen grafis garis lengkung, S, dan gelombang. Shape berupa bentuk nyata Celuluk dengan badan manusia, dan bentuk dasar dua dimensi, tekstur kuas dan kasar untuk memberi kesan tidak rata dan mengurangi kemenotonan. Ruang pada ilustrasi yang terlihat agak padat, Ruang juga memberi kesan jauh dan dekat pada ilustrasi.Bali United Cartoon is a cartoon published through internet media, that is on instagram. Made by one of Balinese soccer supporters, Dewa Gede Raka Jana Nuraga S.Ds., who is also a designer from Tampaksiring, Gianyar. The goal is to cultivate Balinese football spirit, introduce Bali’s football widely, and support Balinese football club through the iconic design illustration of Balinese mythology creature, Celuluk. Celuluk was chosen because it can highlight the characteristics of Bali and bring the local cultural identity. Indirectly, Balinese supporters also love it, seen from the increase of followers in instagram after the creation of the Celuluk illustration as an icon. Until April 2017 Bali United Cartoon has 6840 followers on instagram and is still growing. The research method used by researchers is descriptive qualitative analysis. Researchers go into the field, learn a process that occurs naturally, record, analyze, interpret and report and draw conclusions from the process. The concept of Celuluk illustration is based on black box method and color theory. While the form of illustration is analyzed by graphic design theory. Result of research from interview and analysis, the main concept is cartoonal seen from existence of distortion and simplification form illustration. The concept of sunset for coloring, seen from the use of hot colors, which tends to create the impression as when viewing the sunset. The form of illustration uses a combination of graphic elements of curved lines, S, and waves. Shape in the form of a real Celuluk with the human body, and two dimensional base shapes, brush and coarse textures to give the impression of unevenness and reduce the quenching. the space in the illustration looks rather dense, Space also gives the impression of being far and near to the illustrations. ]]>
