<![CDATA[ABSTRACTThe use of palm oil sticks as a basic material for making household furniture is one solution to reduce plantation waste while creating economically valuable products. This research aims to describe the process and potential of palm oil sticks as household furniture materials using qualitative descriptive methods. Data was collected through interviews with craftsmen and field observations, and supported by related literature studies. The research results show that palm oil sticks have good strength and flexibility, and are easy to process into various products such as plates, fruit containers, bottled water containers and spoon holders. However, the challenges faced include the lack of modern processing techniques and limited market access. With the support of training, technology and promotion, the use of palm oil sticks can be further developed as a creative industry that is environmentally friendly and has the potential to improve community welfare. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan proses dan potensi lidi kelapa sawit sebagai bahan perabot rumah tangga dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan pengrajin dan observasi lapangan, serta didukung oleh studi literatur terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lidi kelapa sawit memiliki kekuatan dan fleksibilitas yang baik, serta mudah diolah menjadi berbagai produk seperti piring, tempat buah, tempat air minum kemasan, dan tempat sendok. Namun, tantangan yang dihadapi antara lain kurangnya teknik pengolahan modern dan terbatasnya akses pasar. Dengan dukungan pelatihan, teknologi, dan promosi, pemanfaatan lidi kelapa sawit dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut sebagai industri kreatif yang ramah lingkungan dan berpotensi meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
