Abstract

This research proposes a solution to increase efficiency and security in the democratic election process through the implementation of a website-based e-voting application that uses Ethereum blockchain technology. In this way, the problems faced by conventional election methods such as vulnerability to damage to election materials, heavy workload for election officials, and vote counting errors can be overcome. Blockchain technology ensures the integrity of voting data, preventing changes, duplication or deletion of data, while voter confidentiality is well maintained. The research results show that the system can effectively display real-time voting information, provide accurate data, and ensure the authenticity of voter identity. The fees calculated in cryptocurrencies for various actions in the system, including adding candidates and voters and conducting voting, reached a total of 27,462,557 Gwei (0.027462557 ETH). The system received positive ratings from users in terms of security, transparency, and ease of use.Keyword: E-voting; Blockchain; Ethereum; Decentralized applications AbstrakPenelitian ini mengusulkan solusi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan keamanan dalam proses pemilihan demokratis melalui implementasi aplikasi e-voting berbasis website yang menggunakan teknologi ethereum blockchain. Dengan demikian, masalah-masalah yang dihadapi oleh metode pemilihan konvensional seperti kerentanan terhadap kerusakan bahan pemilihan, beban kerja yang berat bagi petugas pemilihan, serta kesalahan perhitungan suara dapat diatasi. Teknologi blockchain memastikan integritas data pemilihan suara, mencegah perubahan, duplikasi, atau penghapusan data, sementara kerahasiaan pemilih dijaga dengan baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat secara efektif menampilkan informasi pemungutan suara secara real-time, menyediakan data yang akurat, serta memastikan keaslian identitas pemilih. Biaya dihitung dalam cryptocurrency untuk berbagai aksi dalam sistem, termasuk penambahan kandidat dan pemilih serta pelaksanaan pemungutan suara, mencapai total 27.462.557 Gwei (0.027462557 ETH). Sistem mendapatkan penilaian positif dari pengguna dalam hal keamanan, transparansi, dan kemudahan penggunaan.

Abstract

Internet technology is a technology that is currently widely used by humans to communicate and send various data over long distances quickly. In the process of sending data and communication on internet technology can not be separated from the path used, the shorter the path used, the faster the data sent, so communication will be easy. A computer network is a collection of a number of devices in the form of computers, hubs, switches, routers and other network devices that are connected to each other using certain communication media. The author designed the PUTR office in Gunungsitoli City to assist the process of work, especially on the network so that every job runs well without any disturbance. In designing this mesh topology the author uses OSPF routing where the results of the test can help in facilitating work that is directly connected to each other.Keywords: Cisco Packet Tracer, Mesh Topology, OSPF Routing
