Abstract

Service ineffectiveness and long queues at Toko Hurip cause customers inconvenience in shopping for daily necessities. This research aims to develop a mobile-based ordering system to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. System development uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method which is an adaptation of the waterfall model with a short and fast system design cycle. The system is implemented using a mobile commerce approach that allows customers to place orders online by presenting service information, price descriptions, and catalogs of goods. Blackbox testing was conducted to validate the suitability of system functions with user requirements. The implementation results show that the system successfully automates the ordering process, eliminates physical queues, and increases market reach through a digital platform that can be accessed anytime and anywhere.Keywords: Application; Goods Ordering; E-commerce; Rapid Application Development; Mobile; AbstrakKetidakefektifan pelayanan dan antrian panjang di Toko Hurip menimbulkan ketidaknyamanan pelanggan dalam berbelanja kebutuhan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem pemesanan barang berbasis mobile untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan kepuasan pelanggan. Pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) yang merupakan adaptasi dari model waterfall dengan siklus perancangan sistem yang singkat dan cepat. Sistem diimplementasikan menggunakan pendekatan mobile commerce yang memungkinkan pelanggan melakukan pemesanan secara online dengan menyajikan informasi layanan, keterangan harga, dan katalog barang. Pengujian Blackbox dilakukan untuk memvalidasi kesesuaian fungsi sistem dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan sistem berhasil mengotomatisasi proses pemesanan, mengeliminasi antrian fisik, dan meningkatkan jangkauan pasar melalui platform digital yang dapat diakses kapanpun dan dimanapun.Kata kunci: Aplikasi; Pemesanan Barang; E-commerce; Rapid Application Development; Mobile;
