Abstract

This study provides a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the role of Sharia economics in promoting sustainable development in Indonesia. By examining 810 publications between 2006 and 2024, the study explores key research trends, themes, and collaborations in the literature. The analysis reveals a significant increase in research activity after 2020, with a focus on aligning Islamic finance principles with sustainable development goals (SDGs), particularly in areas such as poverty alleviation, economic growth, and green finance. Keyword co-occurrence visualizations highlight the importance of concepts such as "green sukuk," "economic growth," and "poverty alleviation," while co-authorship networks show concentrated collaboration within small research groups. The findings suggest that Sharia economics has substantial potential to contribute to SDGs, particularly through instruments like green sukuk and waqf, but greater interdisciplinary collaboration and exploration of emerging topics like technology and post-pandemic recovery are needed. These insights have significant implications for both academic research and policy-making in Indonesia and beyond.

Abstract

This study examines the conceptual framework and thematic progression of research on moral branding and ethical consumerism by a bibliometric analysis of publications indexed in Scopus from 2000 to 2025. The study employs VOSviewer and Biblioshiny to delineate major clusters pertaining to branding, consumer behavior, sustainability, and digital ethics. Results demonstrate a shift from initial psychological and behavioral models to interdisciplinary frameworks that incorporate sustainability and value-driven marketing. The United Kingdom and the United States appear as primary providers, while collaborations from Asia and Europe are becoming more prominent. The research offers theoretical and managerial insights for incorporating moral authenticity, sustainability, and consumer trust into branding initiatives. It additionally suggests a Value–Ethics–Sustainability paradigm as a conceptual framework to direct future inquiries in ethical marketing.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of technology access inequality and the digital skills gap on social integration and life satisfaction in Indonesia. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data were collected from 230 respondents using a structured questionnaire. The results were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3) to evaluate the relationships between variables. Findings indicate that both technology access inequality and digital skill disparities significantly influence social integration, which in turn affects life satisfaction. Notably, technology access inequality has the strongest direct effect on life satisfaction. This research underscores the necessity for targeted interventions to improve technology access and digital skills, which can enhance social cohesion and overall well-being in Indonesia.
