Abstract

Introduction: The pervasive use of digital devices has raised concerns about the impact of screen time on early childhood development, particularly language skills. This study investigates the relationship between screen time exposure and language development in Indonesian children under five, while also analyzing the influence of socio-demographic and environmental risk factors. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted involving 300 Indonesian children aged 1 to 5 years. Parents completed questionnaires on socio-demographics, screen time habits, and their child's language development (assessed using the Indonesian Early Language Development Scale - IELDS). Statistical analyses included descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression to identify predictors of language delay. Results: Increased screen time was significantly correlated with lower scores on the IELDS, indicating delayed language development. Children with higher screen time were more likely to exhibit delays in expressive language, receptive language, and overall communication skills. Socio-economic status, parental education, and home language environment also emerged as significant predictors of language outcomes. Conclusion: This study provides compelling evidence for the negative association between screen time and language development in young Indonesian children. The findings underscore the importance of limiting screen time and promoting language-rich interactions during the critical early years.

Abstract

Introduction: Workplace bullying is a pervasive issue with detrimental effects on the mental health and well-being of healthcare professionals. This study aimed to develop and validate a predictive score for bullying-related burnout among healthcare professionals in Indonesia and explore its implications for organizational interventions. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted involving 785 healthcare professionals from various hospitals in Indonesia. Data were collected using self-reported questionnaires, including the Indonesian versions of the Negative Acts Questionnaire-Revised (NAQ-R), the Copenhagen Burnout Inventory (CBI), and the Workplace Bullying Scale (WBS). Sociodemographic and work-related factors were also assessed. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to develop the predictive score, and its performance was evaluated using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis. Results: The prevalence of workplace bullying was 32.1%, with verbal bullying being the most common type. Burnout was significantly associated with bullying experiences (p<0.001). The final predictive score included age, gender, profession, years of experience, work hours per week, perceived social support, and exposure to different types of bullying. The score demonstrated good predictive accuracy (AUC=0.88, 95% CI: 0.84-0.90) for identifying individuals at high risk of burnout. Conclusion: This study provides a validated predictive score for bullying-related burnout in Indonesian healthcare professionals. The score can be used to identify high-risk individuals and guide targeted organizational interventions to prevent and mitigate the negative consequences of workplace bullying.

Abstract

Keputusan konsumen adalah proses yang dilakukan oleh konsumen untuk memilih dan membeli produk atau jasa yang sesuai dengan keinginannya, banyak faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi konsumen dalam proses pembelian suatu produk baik dari segi harga, kualitas produk maupun lokasi penjualan itu sendiri. Tindakan-tindakan yang dilakukan individu atau kolnsumeln yang belrhubungan delngan prolsels pelngambilan kelputusan dalam melmilih, melmbelli dan melmakai barang atau jasa selmata-mata untuk melmelnuhi kelbutuhannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor saja yang dapat mempengaruhi pelanggan dalam mengambil keputusan pembelian sayuran di pasar pelita sukabumi. Analisis dilakukan pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan metode analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa keputusan pembelian sayuran di pasar pelita sukabumi dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor secara simultan yaitu harga, kualitas produk dan lokasi. Faktor-faktor tersebut secara bersama-sama berpengaruh sebesar 30,4%.
