<![CDATA[Critical thinking is a skill that needs to be developed during Pancasila Education instruction, particularly regarding the topic of norms. Initial diagnostic test results for the fifth-grade class at SD Negeri Mojoroto 6 revealed that students' abilities to understand and analyze issues related to norms required improvement. This study aimed to enhance students' critical thinking skills by implementing the Problem-Based Learning model supported by the "Pancacase Box" tool for the fifth-grade norms curriculum. The study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology, conducted over a single cycle comprising the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 15 fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Mojoroto 6 during the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year. Data were collected via pre-tests and post-tests, as well as through classroom observations. The results showed that the students' average score rose from 67.67 on the pre-test to 76.50 on the post-test—an increase of 8.83 points. Descriptively, these results indicate an improvement in critical thinking skills following the intervention. However, the paired-sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.138, meaning the improvement was not statistically significant.
