Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the history of traditional culinary in Ngasem Market while exploring its geometric concept. Traditional cakes, when viewed physically, have various forms that still survive today. Therefore, in order to identify and analyze the ethnomathematics concept contained in the snacks sold, this qualitative study uses an ethnographic approach to traditional snacks in Ngasem Market with data collection techniques of field observation, interviews with traders, and documentation. The results of the study revealed that traditional snacks in Apem, Bakpia, and Wingko cakes are still available in Ngasem Market and have geometric patterns. The findings of the identified patterns are in flat shapes of circles and rectangles and one cylindrical space shape. The results of this study provide hope and recommendations that can be used as a model for learning mathematics outside the classroom which can also trigger students to understand the history of local culinary culture.

Religiosity is directly proportional to children's behavior. One of the basic things in children's behavior is influenced by religious understanding. This understanding can be responded to through the ngaji fiqh movement in the chapter on ablution and prayer which aims to enable children to increase their religiosity to God. The researcher in his article used descriptive-qualitative research with a product development method approach to teaching programs through Research and Development in the development of the 4D model. The product in question is the ngaji fiqh program for children that is adjusted to the needs of the community. The results of the community service research in Mojosari Hamlet through the ngaji fiqh movement program can bring benefits to children, namely better and correct ablution and prayer, creating adaptation to prosper the mosque, and awareness of the role of parents to their children. In the implementation that has gone well, the researcher hopes that this program can be continued through similar community service by the campus as an implementation of the Tridharma of higher education. In line with expectations, to policymakers in the regions they do not remain silent in forming a young generation of religious hamlets so that they behave according to community norms and Islamic values.

Abstract

Human activities are inevitably in harmony with climate change. Thus, the importance of preserving the environment must be instilled in the minds of future generations. This research aims to explore and describe the use of climate cards for elementary school children. This research also tries to identify creative actions that can increase awareness of climate change. This research used a qualitative-descriptive method. Data were collected by conducting a Focus Group Discussion. Data were then analyzed in each meeting to conclude. The results of the analysis showed that interactive educational media on climate change have not been widely used in SDN Jetis 2 Saptosari. The climate cards were not only used during the lecturing session. They encouraged students to be more collaborative, critical, and communicative in learning to support their cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities. The use of the climate cards could increase students' interest in learning about climate change issues, especially when they are assigned to create a poster about waste issues.
