Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen sarana dan prasarana melalui pengadaan gedung keterampilan sebagai upaya meningkatkan hard skill siswa di MAN 2 Mojokerto. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan Subjek penelitian bapak kepala madrasah, pengelola gedung keterampilan dan koordinaor unit setiap program. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini ialah menunjukkan cara pengadaan sarana dan prasana melalui gedung keterampilan bahwa pembangunaan gedung keterampilan MAN 2 Mojokerto dimulai pada tahun 2019 dengan mengembangkan 6 program keterampilan antara lain tata boga, tata busana, DKV, griya batik, animasi, multimedia. Pembangunan gedung keterampilan dimulai ketika sekolah mendapat bantuan pembangunan gedung keterampilan dari Kantor Kementrian Agama Republik Indonesia. Pada tahun 2020 sekolah juga mendapat bantuan dana hibah vokasi dari Pemprov Jawa Timur. Penelitian dikaji menggunakan prinsip PPEP (penetapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, pengendalian dan peningkatan).

Abstract

Despite receiving more attention than other language skills in English classroom, the result of students’ reading comprehension achievement is still far from expectation. To help students comprehend English reading texts and have better achievement in reading skill, PQ4R strategy can be an alternative to offer. The PQ4R (also well known as SQ4R) strategy of comprehending reading material is an extension of SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review) This method involves previewing the reading material, questioning the reading, reading to answer the questions, reflecting upon the reading, reciting the reading, and reviewing the material. This method is useful for improving students’ reading effectiveness in addition to help students better remember what they read. This paper highlights the PQ4R strategy and its use as an alternative to improve students’ reading comprehension achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: 1) Describe the differences of self-knowledge with Learning together with self-learning in the seventh semester of Tarbiyah High School of Raden Wijaya Mojokerto. 2) Describe the difference of self-knowledge of high motivated and low motivated students in the seventh semester of Tarbiyah High School of Raden Wijaya Mojokerto 3) Describe the interaction between learning together with self-learning and self-knowledge motivation in semester VII Tarbiyah High School Tarriyah Raden Wijaya Mojokerto . The type of this research is survey type research with quantitative approach. Population as object of research is student of semester VII of Tarbiyah High School of Raden Wijaya Mojokerto, This research is included in research of comparative explanation. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, while data analysis techniques used multiple linear regression analysis, with hypothesis test using t test and F test. From the analysis result can be concluded as follows: 1) There is difference of self-knowledge with Learning together with self-learning. 2) There is no difference in self-knowledge that is highly motivated and students with low motivation. 3) There is an interaction between Learning along with self-learning as well as motivation to self-knowledge.

Abstract

Education in thisali era of digital disturbances cannot predict what will happen to future graduates who are preparing for new positions and professions that will emerge, driven not only by the fourth industrial revolution, but also by non-technological factors such as demographic pressure , geopolitical change, and social and cultural norms that occur through the discovery of new functions, and the mobility of people through reflecting new roles by digital technology is not an ordinary labor or ordinary capital ; but people who can create new ideas and innovations. The purpose of this paper is to describe the non-technical skills of Islamic religious teachers prepared in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. 1) Non-technical skills are known as the main attributes for graduates to be employed, for this reason the university is creating a sustainable pathway to develop leadership to create a vision that is in line with the needs of college stakeholders that include lectures that combine great opportunities and practices, such as practice-based final assignments that are integrated into lectures from the beginning of the program and new mentoring components were designed based on professional knowledge. 2) Non-technical skills that are capable of being accepted in the Industrial 4.0 era must at least contain Knowledge Work elements that have a role to mediate knowledge worker productivity between process management (knowledge generation, knowledge sharing, and knowledge applications) and innovation . 3) The second non-technical skill is Thinking Tools to develop optimal solutions to technical problems that depend on structured and complex thinking, technology design and programming, critical thinking and analysis and system analysis and evaluation capabilities. 4) The dynamic non-technical skills of a learning research consists of originality and creativity initiatives, ability to solve problem solving and reasoning, problem solving and ideas. 5) The fourth non-technical skill is Digital Lifestyle in Leadership and social influence.

Abstract

Research objective of the study is to know the influence of metacognitive strategies to the self-efficacy and problem solving of MAN 2 Mojokerto students'. Research design used? in study was quasi experiment with technique? of data analysis in the form of analysis multiple linear regression. It is also used prerequisite tests regression which includes the normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test, as well as hypothesis testing which includes the simultaneous test (F), partial test (t), and coefficient determination (R2). Based on results statistics using Two Way ANOVA SPSS then it can be concluded that metacognitive strategy has a significant influence on self- efficacy, but on the other hand it can not give significant influence? to problem solving abilities

Abstract

Describing the development, quality, and effectiveness of using the web-based game "Pirates of Nusantara's Sea" as a medium to understand English reading materials is the aim of this research. The techniques developed in this study are based on Multiliteracies and New Literacies from The New London Group, considering the characteristics of Gen Z students, who prefer digital platforms as their learning medium. This research utilized R&D development methods with the ADDIE model, as it aims to produce a viable product for literacy learning media. This is evidenced by an average validation score of 86.29% provided by material and graphic design validators. The findings revealed that the average post-test score of students in the experimental class was 82.6, compared to 68.4 in the control class. Furthermore, the learning mastery rate in the experimental class was 91%, whereas the control class achieved a mastery rate of 48%. Student responses or interest in learning English using this game-based medium were categorized as positive, indicating that 11th-grade students at MAN 2 Mojokerto showed enthusiasm for learning English. In conclusion, using web-based game media can effectively enhance the quality of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology, particularly in the form of Android-based devices, has permeated various aspects of daily life. The use of smartphones is increasingly widespread and easily accessible to many people, including Madrasah Aliyah students. Seeing this phenomenon, the development of Android-based praying guidance media can be an effective solution to help students understand and carry out praying correctly. The research carried out is Research and Development (R and D), and the research procedure is analyzing by conducting needs surveys, designing prototypes, developing materials, validating experts and teachers, revising, implementing by testing materials, revising, evaluating, and getting products, and getting the final product using the ADDIE model. The instruments in the needs survey are questionnaires, interview guides, and field notes. Based on these findings, various praying guidances were developed. There are 7 types of praying performed, consisting of 4 fardhu prayings and 3 sunnah prayings. The final product produced is an Android Studio Based Praying Guidance Application for Madrasah Students (SI NASSHWA). This is one quick way to learn fardhu and sunnah prayings. This also trains students' honesty. Besides, the total percentage of student responses was 55.52%. It’s mean that student response belong to positive category. For other researchers conducting similar research are advised to conduct further studies to develop an Android-based praying guidance or conduct an evaluative study of this prototype product after it has been implemented for Madrasah Aliyah’s students.

Abstract

This paper reports a study on the use of Reciprocal Teaching Methodwhich aimed to improve the reading comprehension of the tenth yearstudents of MAN Mojokerto. The method applied in this study was acollaborative classroom action research which involves 46 students inthe academic year of 2016/2017. This study was conducted in twocycles by following the procedures of the action research: planning,implementing, observing, and reflecting. Each of which encompassedtwo meeti ngs. The data of the study were gathered throughobservation checklists, field notes, and reading test. The findings ofstudy showed that Reciprocal Teaching Method can improve thestudents’ reading comprehension. The improvement could be seenfrom the increase of the number of students who got score < 70. Besides,Reciprocal Teaching Method can increase the students’ involvementduring the teaching and learning process.
