Abstract

The first week following giving birth is a common time for the mild affective disorder condition known as Baby Blues or Maternity Blues. The third to fifth day after delivery is when the occurrence of Baby Blues Syndrome rises, and it continues for fourteen days thereafter. This study falls under the category of analytical observational research since it does not treat research subjects in any way to help researchers understand the issue more thoroughly. This study used a cross-sectional design and was a survey in nature. Forty women who gave birth at PMB Linda Elisabet Elisabet in May 2024 and were at least one week postpartum made up the study's group. The researchers in this study used the total sampling formula to choose their samples. Sequential sampling was employed for the sampling process. The study found no statistically significant correlation (p = 0.477) between postpartum mothers' age and the frequency of infant blues syndrome in PMB Linda Elisabet, Depok City, West Java in 2024. Parity is statistically associated with a lower risk of postpartum blues syndrome in PMB moms. Depok City, West Java's Linda Elisabet in 2024, p = 0.024, Baby blues syndrome incidence and pregnancy status are statistically related in 2024 at PMB Linda Elisabet in Depok City, West Java. The p-value for this relationship is 0.041, suggesting that the two variables are significantly related. The goal of PMB Linda Elisabet's baby blues syndrome screening program is to reduce the prevalence of postpartum depression and encourage moms to talk to their loved ones about the challenges they're experiencing.

Abstract

The author polled ten women who had expressed an interest in family planning at PMB Nuri Utamining with five questions; five of the women said they were familiar with intrauterine devices (IUDs) but had no plans to use them, three said they knew very little about them and were also uninterested, and two said they were both knowledgeable about IUDs and would like to use them. This study falls under the category of analytical observational research since it does not treat research subjects in any way to help researchers understand the issue more thoroughly. This study used a cross-sectional design and was a survey in nature. Mothers who enrolled in the family planning program at PMB Nuri Utamining in Depok made up the study's population. After using the Slovin algorithm to the process of sample selection, a total of 45 respondents were selected for this investigation. We employed a sequential sampling technique. It has been determined through research and discussion that the following relationships exist: Education (p = 0.043), Knowledge (p = 0.001), Socio-Culture (p = 0.006), Husband's Support (p = 0.002), and Parity with Mother's Interest in Using IUDs at PMB Nuri Utamining (p = 0.009). The goal of the educational activities planned by PMB Nuri Utamining and local health centers is to raise awareness among PUS about the merits of intrauterine device (IUD) KB use, which should pique their interest in trying it out and encourage them to actively seek out more information about it.

Abstract

A woman's anxiety levels during pregnancy may be affected by her age, degree of education, employment, marital status, fear of giving birth, and her history of miscarriages. Factors such as a woman's age, level of education, employment, parity, obstetric status, gestational age, health behavior, ANC history, and her husband's support are all linked to her anxiety throughout pregnancy, according to several studies. This study falls under the category of analytical observational research since it does not treat research subjects in any way to help researchers understand the issue more thoroughly. This study used a cross-sectional design and was a survey in nature. The 144 moms who participated in the ANC procedure in April 2024 at the Aek Parombunan Community Health Center in the South Sibolga District of Sibolga City made up the study's population. Sixty participants were used as samples in this study, which used the Slovin formula for sample selection. We employed a sequential sampling technique. The research and discussion led to the following conclusions: status is related to anxiety during childbirth (p = 0.027), ANC history is related (p = 0.015), history of pregnancy complications is not related (p = 0.775), and at Aek Parombunan Community Health Center, there is a statistical relationship between husband's support and anxiety (p = 0.008). It is anticipated that the UPT of the Aek Parombunan Community Health Center will be able to offer counseling to pregnant women regarding the prevalence, effects, and prevention of anxiety in this population.
