Abstract

This study aims to obtain knowledge about the influence of learning readiness and school environment on the learning outcomes of social studies subjects of grade VIII students of Nusantara Balimbingan Private Junior High School, Java.This type of research is a descriptive quantitative research with a research population of 75 grade VIII students at Nusantara Balimbingan Private Junior High School, Tanah Java and the sample used is all students who are the research population. The sampling technique used is Non Probability Sampling. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation and questionnaires (questionnaires). The hypothesis data collection technique uses multiple regression analysis, partial test (t), simultaneous test (f) and determination coefficient (R²).The results of the study stated that: 1) There was a positive influence between learning readiness on student learning outcomes as seen from the t-test where the t-value of learning readiness (11.335) > ttable value (1.993). 2) There is a positive influence between the school environment on student learning outcomes, this result is seen in the t-test where the t-calculated value of the school environment (4.105) > the ttable value (1.993) which means that there is an influence on these variables. 3) Learning readiness and school environment together affect learning outcomes, this result can be seen in the f test where the fcal value (72.070) > the ftable value (3.12). The R Square determination coefficient test is known to be 0.667, which means that 66.7% of the variables of learning readiness and school environment have an influence on learning outcomes in social studies subjects of grade VIII students of SMP Private Nusantara Balimbingan Tanah Java. While 33.3% is the influence of other variables that were not studied in this study.Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that learning readiness and school environment have a positive and together effect on the learning outcomes of social studies subjects of grade VIII students of Nusantara Balimbingan Private Junior High School in Java.

Abstract

The success of learning activities at school can be seen from the achievement of student learning outcomes. Student learning outcomes are influenced by several factors including teacher teaching skills and student learning discipline. This research aims to analyze and describe the influence of teachers' teaching skills and student learning discipline on student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Jawa.This research is descriptive quantitative research with research sampling using probability sampling techniques; simple random sampling. Hypothesis testing in this research uses multiple linear regression, partial test (t), simultaneous test (F), and coefficient of determination test (R2).The results of the research show that: (1) There is a negative and significant influence between the teacher teaching skills variable and the learning outcomes of class VIII students in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Jawa. This is proven in the results of hypothesis testing for the teacher teaching skills variable (X¬1 ¬) it is known that the tcount value is -3.815 < 1.981. (2) There is a significant influence between student learning discipline variables on the learning outcomes of Class VIII students in social studies at SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Jawa. It can be proven in hypothesis testing for the student learning discipline variable (X2) it is known that tcount is 3.046 > ttable value 1981, so it can be concluded that Ha1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. In particular, it is stated that there is an influence between the student learning discipline variables (X2) on student learning outcomes (Y). (3) There is a significant influence of teacher teaching skills and student learning discipline on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Jawa with the results of hypothesis testing in the f-test obtained Fcount of 11,133 > Ftable of 3.08. So, based on the results of the calculations above, it can be concluded that Ha3 is accepted and H03 is rejected, so that the variables teacher teaching skills and student learning discipline together or simultaneously have a significant influence on student learning outcomes.Based on the research results, it was concluded that the teacher's teaching skills and student learning discipline had a significant effect on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Jawa

Abstract

The problem in this study is that there has been a decrease in the number of Economics Education students in 2020-2023. This study aims to determine the effect of brand image and promotion on the decision of Economic Education students to choose to study at HKBP Nommensen University Pematangsiantar.This research was conducted at HKBP Nommensen University Pematangsiantar. This type of research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. Where this method aims to describe the research results and draw conclusions. The population in this study were all students of Economic Education Stambuk 2020-2023, totaling 300 economic education students with the Random Sampling Technique and calculated using the Slovin formula. Data analysis techniques are carried out in several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, questionnaires (questionnaires), and documentation.From the results of data analysis, it shows that the brand image variable has an influence on the decisions of Economic Education students. Where the tcount value of the brand image variable (X1) is 3.394> t table 1.993 and the significance value is 0,01< 0,05. So it can be concluded that Ha1 is accepted. Promotion variables influence the decisions of economic education students. Where the tcount value of the promotion variable (X2) is -3.213> t table -1.993 and the significance value is 0,02 < 0,05. So it can be concluded that Ha2 is accepted. For the results of the F test (simultaneous), the Fcount value is 12.186> Ftable 3.12. So it can be concluded simultaneously that the brand image and promotion variables affect the decision variable. From these results it can be seen that Ha3 is accepted.
