Abstract

The factory has produced solid natural rubber asphalt (AKAP PG 76) and has received support for its implementation by the government. The application of materials in road works at the Directorate General of Highways refers to the Special Specification for Solid Natural Rubber Asphalt (SKh-2.M.04). However, the use of AKAP PG-76 is still limited or only used in national road projects. One of the contributing factors is its relatively high price. This study will evaluate the comparison of price and quality produced. This study aims to compare the characteristics of AC-WC asphalt concrete mixtures using PEN 60/70 asphalt and AKAP PG-76 asphalt. Before the Marshall test, samples with five variations of asphalt content were soaked at 60 oC and 80 oC to achieve optimal asphalt content. The advantages and resistance of asphalt pavement to extreme weather can be seen from the residual strength index. The residual strength index was obtained from the Marshall test comparison of samples with optimal asphalt content soaked for 30 minutes and 24 hours at temperatures of 60 oC and 80 oC. This study found that the asphalt concrete mixture using solid natural rubber (AKAP PG 76) and PEN 60/70 asphalt showed good resistance to extreme weather conditions. However, AKAP PG 76 is better because it has higher Marshall stability and can withstand scorching weather.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the ability of a glulam-concrete composite bridge beam coated with carbon fibre-reinforced polymer (CFRP) to absorb energy under static loading conditions. The glulam-concrete composite structure was chosen due to the combination of concrete's compressive strength and laminated wood's flexibility, which provides optimal performance in bridge applications. CFRP is used to enhance the beam's resistance to deformation and damage caused by the applied load. The test was conducted by gradually applying static loads to beams coated with 1 Layer, 2 Layers, and 3 Layers of CFRP, as well as to beams without CFRP for comparison. The absorbed energy was calculated by measuring the area under the load-deflection curve, which indicates the amount of energy that the beam can absorb before reaching failure. The results showed that CFRP reinforcement increased the stiffness and strength of the beam but decreased the energy absorption capacity. The beam without CFRP has the highest absorption energy (5773.27 Joules). In comparison, the beam with three CFRP layers has the lowest absorption energy (451.59 Joules), indicating the tendency of brittle and shear failure in laminated beams. Therefore, the number of CFRP layers should be optimised to balance the increase in strength and ductility, thereby preventing sudden failure in structural applications. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan mitra berupa rendahnya pemahaman siswa jurusan pemasaran terhadap aspek teknis proyek perumahan, seperti struktur bangunan, material, dan tahapan konstruksi. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan konten promosi properti yang dihasilkan kurang akurat dan informatif. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan teknis siswa serta mengintegrasikannya dengan strategi branding dan promosi properti. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah interaktif, pemaparan gambar rencana bangunan, penjelasan tahapan konstruksi, serta pendampingan pembuatan media promosi digital berupa poster dan video. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman teknis siswa sebesar 80% ke atas berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pre-test dan post-test, serta dihasilkannya tiga rancangan media promosi digital berbasis informasi teknis bangunan. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak langsung terhadap peningkatan kompetensi lintas disiplin dan kesiapan kerja siswa di bidang pemasaran properti.
