Abstract

The effectiveness and efficiency of financial management is the key to success for trading companies such as PT Sinergi Niaga Jaya. However, manual recording methods carried out by administrative staff often cause difficulties in searching for transaction data and produce financial reports that are not comprehensive, slow down the report verification process and increase the risk of errors. This research proposes the development of a web-based digital financial reporting system to automate transaction recording and financial report generation. The developed system is designed to provide easy access for administrative staff, managers, and company owners, thus enabling more structured and efficient financial management. This research uses a quantitative approach, through observation, interviews, and literature study for needs analysis, as well as Data Flow Diagram (DFD) for data flow modeling. Testing was conducted using the Blackbox testing method to test system functionality. As a result, the system is able to generate general journal, ledger, balance sheet, profit and loss, and capital change reports automatically. This web-based financial reporting system is expected to improve the efficiency of financial management by reducing the time and risk of manual recording errors.

Abstract

Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) management has a strategic role in strengthening the local economy, but Toko Sejahtera still faces obstacles related to stock management, transaction recording, and customer service. The Microsoft Excel-based recording system is considered less effective in reflecting real-time stock of goods, so there is often uncertainty in the availability of goods which causes customer dissatisfaction. This research aims to design and implement a web-based e-commerce system at Toko Sejahtera to overcome these obstacles, by providing a platform that allows customers to check stock items before ordering, as well as update transactions and stock automatically. The system was designed using UML approach with various diagrams, such as use case, class, activity, and sequence to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the system. Testing is done through Black Box Testing to ensure the system functions as expected. The results show that this system can improve operational efficiency, service quality, and customer experience by providing online transaction features, real-time sales reports, and COD payment options.

Abstract

In the digital era, some MSMEs have not been able to compete in facing the challenges of increasing visibility and turnover through digital promotion. One of the main obstacles is the limited understanding and strategies in using social media, especially Instagram, which has the potential to support market expansion and brand recognition. This Community Service activity (PKM) is designed to provide assistance to Kamala Coffee in utilizing Instagram Insight and implementing effective logo branding. The activity stages include needs analysis, preparation of training materials, hands-on training, as well as implementation and evaluation of results. Based on the results of the activities, there was a significant increase in engagement and reach of content on social media, especially through the Instagram Insight feature. The use of a new and attractive logo also helped increase brand awareness. Through this approach, Kamala Coffee is expected to maximize their digital potential to achieve their target turnover and strengthen their position in the local market.

Abstract

This community service activity (PKM) aims to improve operational efficiency and service quality at Santosa Catering through the implementation of a web-based catering ordering system. Santosa Catering, as a micro business, faces obstacles in managing orders that are still done manually, which causes inaccurate stock information, delays in delivery, and limited customer access to menus and prices. Through a Diffusion of Science and Technology and Knowledge Transfer approach, a web-based ordering system was developed and implemented to support business operations. The system allows customers to access real-time menu information, place online orders, and choose preferred payment methods, while the owner and staff were given intensive training to effectively operate the system. The evaluation results showed significant improvements in all aspects of assessment, including understanding of system features, operational skills, time efficiency, and customer satisfaction, as shown in the comparison chart of pretest and posttest results. The system not only optimizes operational processes but also increases customer satisfaction, strengthens business competitiveness, and has the potential to become a model for other micro businesses in utilizing digital technology. Thus, this PKM activity is expected to contribute to the sustainability of Santosa Catering's business in the digital era.
