Abstract

The research looks at how Ida Bagus Gede Mahatmananda Manuaba, who is one of the candidates for Blahkiuh Village Head, won the election contest for Blahkiuh Village in 2021. In winning the village head, of course, there is a strategy that is arranged. This research also looks at whether there are other factors that become aspects of his election seen from the background. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method with primary data sources obtained through interviews. This research uses the Theory of Political Strategy by Peter Schorder and Political Marketing by Lock Harris. Based on the analysis that has been done, the results show that the strategy used by Ida Bagus gede Mahatmananda is through a social community approach with Blahkiuh villagers and the first reference is because he has a good background in family and work so that it helps with the personal branding he has. Abstrak Penelitian ini melihat bagaimana cara yang dilakukan oleh Ida bagus Gede mahatmananda Manuaba yang merupakan salah satu calon Kepala Desa Blahkiuh dalam memenangkan kontes pilkada Desa Blahkiuh tahun 2021. Dalam memenangkan menjadi kepala desa tentunya ada strategi yang disusun. Penelitian ini juga melihat apakah ada factor lain yang menjadi aspek terpilihnya beliau yang dilihat dari latar belakang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan sumber data primer didapat melalui wawancara. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Strategi Politik oleh Peter Schorder dan Pemasaran Politik oleh Lock Harris. Berdasarkan dengan analisis yang sudah dilakukan mendapatkan hasil bahwa Strategi yang digunakan oleh Ida Bagus gede Mahatmananda yaitu melalui pendekatan social masyarakat dengan warga desa Blahkiuh serta yang menjadi acuan pertama adala karena beliau memiliki latar belakang yang baik secara keluarga dan pekerjaan sehingga membantu. Kata Kunci : Strategi Politik, Pemasaran Politik, Pilkada, Kampanye Politik

Abstract

Welfare State theory underlines the state's responsibility to ensure a minimum standard of living for all its citizens, a concept first implemented by Germany under Otto Von Bismarck in the 1850s. In the context of President Donald Trump's immigration policies, there are efforts to create prosperity for Native Americans through increasing job opportunities and access to resources. However, the policy is also responsible for the welfare of immigrants living in the country. Unfortunately, Trump's policies are influenced by prejudice and insecurity about foreign threats, with misperceptions about jihad within Islam fueling misguided public opinion and spreading Islamophobia. Some of Trump's close advisers, such as Michael Flynn and Steve Bannon, have issued statements stigmatizing Islam as a radical ideology, exacerbating social issues and creating unconstitutional responses against minorities. Trump acts as a securitization actor, depicting America as insecure and trying to take the migration problem seriously through new policies and strong support from parliament. The slogan "Make America Great Again" reflects Trump's determination to restore America's greatness through strict migration policies.
