Abstract

This research aims to find out how family resilience with Mandailing & Minang ethnic Amalgamation marriages in Jorong Kauman Nagari Tanjung Betung South Rao District Pasaman Regency. Furthermore, it also knows how various cultures are carried out to carry out marriage, both from Mandailing and Minang ethnicities. The survival of amalgamation marriages is encouraged by the factor of good tolerance patterns between the two ethnicities. Mandailing and Minang ethnicities highly uphold the value of tolerance. Where factors that influence survival are economic and cultural factors. In this writing, the researcher uses a qualitative method where researchers try to describe, describe how family resilience in Mandailing and Minang ethnic amaglamation marriages. In collecting data, researchers used interview, observation and documentation methods. The observations used by researchers are participants and unstructured interviews. In this study obtained the results of how tolerance occurs in a community environment with various types of different ethnicities in one location.

Abstract

Masjid Pasa is located in the Preparatory Pariaman City. Masjid and strong traditional values ​​are able to compete in the midst of society that has experienced changes due to covid-19. Covid-19 does not rule out the possibility of eliminating the traditional values ​​of the Masjid. Existence can be maintained because of the ability of the Masjid to maintain the elements it has. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data obtained from key informants and supporting informants. The results showed that, Masjid Pasa is still alive today, even though Masjid Pasa is in the midst of a society that has experienced changes and developments due to covid-19. The ability of the Masjid to keep its elements in balance with one another in the midst of modernization is the key to the sustainability of the Masjid.

Abstract

The phenomenon of violence in the name of Islam gains various responses by which Muslims are often spacegoated. Jihad value which is thought in Islam is often used as an alibi to justify violence. An education system such as high school is the perfect place to teach religious radicalism. It is like two sides of a coin; on the one hand, the instruction can help religious teachers instill Islamic teachings, but on the other hand, it tends to provoke students to become intolerant. The focus of this research was the teachers and students of Public Senior High School Number 1 of Pariaman City, West Sumatra. Qualitative method was used in conducting this study. It aimed at finding deradicalization activities of Islamic religious learning at Senior High School Number 1 of Pariaman City. The result of the study shows that high school students are the perfect objects to accept the doctrine of radicalization. Hence, high school students are often targeted as terrorist recruitment targets. The government through schools has the capability to make tools to identify radical ideas taught to the students, one of which was carried out at Senior High School Number 1 of Pariaman City through deradicalization of Islamic teaching.
