Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of communication psychology in the content and user interactions of the Instagram account @dinamisbiropsikologi in delivering mental health education integrated with Islamic values. The research employs a qualitative approach with content analysis methods. Data were obtained from six Instagram posts in 2025, selected purposively based on two main criteria: (1) themes relevant and engaging in the context of mental health education and the integration of Islamic values, and (2) high levels of user interaction, assessed through the number of likes, comments, and responses from the admin. Data analysis was conducted systematically using NVivo software for coding and thematic categorization. The findings reveal that @dinamisbiropsikologi consistently applies principles of communication psychology, such as empathy, positive reinforcement, and affirmative language, in delivering educational messages. Islamic values are contextually integrated through direct references to Qur’anic verses and hadiths relevant to mental health themes. Strong user responses to content on self-reflection, anxiety, and stoic principles of tranquility underscore the effectiveness of this approach in building emotional connections and raising awareness of the importance of mental health, both from a general and Islamic perspective. Theoretically, this study enriches the field of communication psychology by presenting a model of integration between psychological principles and religious values in digital media. Practically, it provides insights for psychology practitioners and Islamic media managers to develop more adaptive, empathetic, and spiritually grounded communication strategies in delivering mental health education.

Abstract

Dakwah in the midst of the social dynamics of modern society faces challenges in the form of declining social awareness, weakening solidarity, and low community participation in social life. These conditions require a dakwah strategy that is not only normative in nature, but also capable of encouraging social transformation. This study aims to analyze Al-Jam'iyatul Washliyah's da'wah strategy in raising social awareness among the people of North Labuhanbatu Regency. The study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Primary data was obtained through in-depth interviews with Al-Jam'iyatul Washliyah administrators and local da'i, while secondary data was sourced from scientific journals and relevant documents. The results show that Al-Jam'iyatul Washliyah implements an integrative da'wah strategy through dakwah bil-lisan, bil-qalam, and bil-hal, which are structured contextually and involve religious leaders, the community, and local government. The implementation of dakwah bil-hal through social activities and humanitarian actions has proven effective in fostering empathy, solidarity, and social awareness among the community. These findings imply the importance of strengthening Islamic organization-based social da'wah as a model for sustainable social awareness development.

Abstract

Surah An-Nisa, verse 43 of the Al-Qur'an, stipulates that individuals in a state of junub are forbidden from entering the mosque. Numerous fiqh and tafsir scholars subsequently associated this restriction with menstruation women, so restricting their entry into mosques. This study seeks to investigate the function of mosques and women within the context of Qur'anic da'wah, particularly on the restriction on menstrual women, notably preachers, from visiting mosques. This research is qualitative and descriptive, employing a library research methodology that entails gathering data from several scientific publications, interpretations of the Al-Qur'an, and the perspectives of ulama concerning the regulations and etiquette for menstruation women in mosques. This study seeks to link these laws to the objectives of da'wah, particularly concerning women's involvement in religious and social activities within mosques. This research indicates two perspectives on the restriction of menstruation women from attending mosques. Rigid beliefs entirely forbid menstruation women from attending mosques to preserve the sanctity of the prayer space. Conversely, lenient interpretations permit menstruation women to occupy the mosque vicinity, provided they refrain from entering the prayer area and uphold decorum in accordance with Shari'a principles. Consequently, they may continue to engage in da'wah and religious instruction activities, provided they adhere to the etiquette prescribed by Shari'a. This research is new in its Qur'anic da'wah method, which underscores the significance of inclusivity and the role of women in da'wah within mosques, while adhering to established regulations. This research's conclusions examine the stringent and lenient perspectives of the ulama concerning these regulations
