Abstract

Liquor (Sopi) is a drink that contains alcohol which is fermented from brown sugar or granulated sugar and the roots of the herb are mixed together and then distilled. If consumed excessively it will cause bad things to both physical and spiritual health. Alcohol can also make someone lose consciousness because they consume too much. Apart from that, behavior and thinking are chaotic, causing commotion or quarrels which result in victims. This is part of the abuse of alcoholic drinks among local congregations and continues to increase from year to year. Community members in the city of Kupang have a habit of consuming alcoholic drinks every day and also at large events such as traditional events, weddings, Christmas and New Year. The church is here to provide solutions or directions to the congregation not to consume alcoholic drinks.

Abstract

Abstract: Poverty is a complex and long-standing humanitarian problem. The church has theresponsibility to realize the Kingdom of God on earth, is present to provide attention and answers tothis problem. This research examines related to efforts to develop social services to overcome povertyproblems based on charismatic transformative social services. The method used in this research isdescriptive qualitative which describes the existing phenomena, to then be analyzed using descriptiveanalysis. The charismatic group believes that transformative social services with charismaticcharacteristics are effective for efforts to reduce poverty. It is hoped that the results of thedevelopment of charismatic transformative social services can be used by charismatic churches intheir efforts to overcome poverty.Keywords: social service, diakonia, charismaticAbstrak: Kemiskinan adalah masalah kemanusiaan yang kompleks dan sudah lama ada. Gerejamempunyai tanggung jawab mewujudkan Kerajaan Allah di muka bumi, hadir memberikanperhatian dan jawaban terhadap masalah ini. Penelitian ini mengulas terkait dengan usahapengembangan pelayanan sosial untuk menanggulangi masalah kemiskinan berdasarkan pelayanansosial transformatif karismatik. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatifyang menggambarkan fenomena yang ada, untuk kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisisdesktiptif. Kelompok karismatik percaya pelayanan sosial transformatif yang bercirikan karismatikefektif bagi upaya penanggulangan kemiskinan. Hasil dari pengembangan pelayanan sosialtransformatif karismatik ini diharapkan dapat dipakai oleh gereja-gereja karismatik dalam kiprahnyamenanggulangi kemiskinan.Kata kunci: pelayanan sosial, diakonia, karismatik

Abstract

Criminals who are being held in the South Tangerang Police detention center really need attention and care from others. One of them is service to prisoners. Regarding service to prisoners, there are many journals that discuss this, for example in the Correctional Institution (Lapas). In the South Tangerang Police itself, there is no journal for service to prisoners, therefore I want to explore this further. So this journal discusses service to prisoners. This study uses a qualitative method with observation and interviews. This study aims to provide information on the implementation of service to prisoners, this is spiritual service and the impact of service. Service at the South Tangerang Police Resort is very helpful in increasing the growth of faith and repentance. Because service can encourage and help faith grow further, so that prisoners can accept the circumstances they experience and that faith leads them to repentance to become a righteous person.

Abstract

The humanity and sinlessness of Jesus Christ in carrying out His mission in the world, has always been an interesting theme and invites debate, both among theologians and secularists. Human weakness in understanding and accepting the fact of the dual nature of Jesus Christ, presents various skeptical views, rejections and refutations, including suspicion and doubt that in carrying out His mission, Jesus did not act in His sinless human nature, but in His holy divine nature. However, whatever the forms of rejection, suspicion and debate against that view, the truth of God's Word is accurate evidence and at the same time an answer. This study aims to test the truth that during His mission in the world, Jesus was a true sinless human being, using a method using a qualitative approach using secondary techniques through literature studies.The humanity and sinlessness of Jesus Christ in carrying out His mission in the world has always been an interesting theme and has invited debate, both among theologians and secularists. Human weakness in understanding and accepting the fact of the dual nature of Jesus Christ, presents various views of skepticism, rejection and refutation, not least the suspicion and doubt that in carrying out His mission, Jesus did not act in His sinless human nature, but in His holy divine nature. However, whatever the forms of rejection, suspicion and debate regarding this view, the truth of God's Word is accurate evidence and at the same time the answer that Jesus' human nature is real and during the mission of His redemptive work Jesus acted with His sinless human nature. The results of the study concluded that Jesus' humanity was real, and during his redemptive mission, Jesus acted with a sinless humanity. This study confirms that even though Jesus experienced a full human life, including suffering and weakness, He still lived without sin and without moral fault. This is an important belief in Christian theology that emphasizes that Jesus' humanity does not diminish His purity and holiness in carrying out his redemptive mission for humanity.
