Abstract

Amṡāl dalam Al-Qur'an sering kali ditafsirkan oleh para ulama yang menguasai ilmu bahasa (lughah) dan kaidah-kaidahnya. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis makna, unsur-unsur sertaragam perumpamaan dari Amṡāl. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif berbasis library research dengan pendekatan ilmu tafsir. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa Amṡāl dalam Al-Qur'an, memberikan penjelasan bahwa Amṡāl adalah cara untuk menyerupakan satu hal dengan hal lainnya berdasarkan kesamaan hukum, dengan tujuan mendekatkan konsep yang bersifat rasional kepada sesuatu yang dapat ditangkap oleh indera, atau menjelaskan hubungan antara dua hal yang berhubungan dengan indera melalui kemiripan yang dimilikinya. Selain itu Amṡāl terdiri dari beberapa bagian serta unsur-unsut yang saling melengkapi untuk menghasilkan perumpamaan yang efektif dan penuh makna. Proverbs in the Qur'an are often interpreted by scholars who master the science of language (lughah) and its rules. This research aims to analyze the meaning, elements and various parables of Proverbs. This research uses field methods and literature studies with a descriptive qualitative approach. The approach used is tafsir to analyze proverbs in the Qur'an. The results of the study found that proverbs in the Qur'an, provide an explanation that proverbs are a way to resemble one thing with another based on legal similarities, with the aim of bringing a rational concept closer to something that can be captured by the senses, or explaining the relationship between two things related to the senses through their similarity. In addition, Proverbs consists of several parts and elements that complement each other to produce an effective and meaningful parable.

Abstract

Islamic economic thought during the Ottoman Empire reflects the application of Islamic principles in the management of the state’s economy, with a focus on social welfare, equitable wealth distribution, and the regulation of natural resources. During this period, the economic system applied not only covered financial aspects but also societal welfare through practices such as waqf and zakat. Waqf was used to finance various social institutions such as schools, hospitals, and mosques, while zakat played a role in reducing economic disparities. The Ottoman state also regulated markets and trade to maintain economic stability and prevent exploitation that could harm the public. Islamic economic thought in this era emphasized the state’s role in achieving general welfare through fair and sustainable policies in accordance with Sharia principles. Overall, Islamic economic thought during the Ottoman period serves as a concrete example of an economy based on Islamic values aimed at achieving justice and collective well-being.
